Free child ID kits available
BLOOMINGTON — The Western & Southern Financial Group offers free Child Identification Kits for parents and grandparents. Once completed, these kits will include fingerprints, a current photo, as well other useful information for parents to utilize should something happen to their children. BLOOMINGTON — The Dog Knows Detection has certified two bedbug canine handler teams with the World Detector Dog Organization. The WDDO is an independent third-party association that certifies detection dogs in scent disciplines such as explosives, accelerants, drugs, bedbugs and cadavers. The WDDO accreditation indicates that a scent detection team has met the highest possible professional standards for commercial and government agencies. The organization certifies canine teams only after rigorous evaluation and testing in the scent detection industry. BLOOMINGTON — Justin J. Harrison, attorney with Andrews, Harrell, Mann, Carmin & Parker, completed the 15th Annual Trial Advocacy Skills College conducted recently at Indiana University’s Robert H. McKinney School of Law in Indianapolis. The four-day litigation skills proficiency training was sponsored by the Indiana Continuing Legal Education Foundation, the American Board of Trial Advocates and Ms. Jessie A. Cook. The program’s mission is to train lawyers to be proficient, effective, and ethical courtroom advocates. Participants worked with experienced litigators to improve courtroom advocacy skills at all stages of a civil jury trial.
