The decision by the school board to spend $750,000 on Astroturf is infuriating! Forget the football field and use the capital projects fund for the needed improvements with less borrowed money. Have none of them any common sence? One in ten Americans are unemployed. Last year over a million homes were foreclosed. Their going to spend 3/4 of a million taxpayer dollars on Astroturf! Insane! Is it time for a change in the school administration? Will the taxpayers remember this vote in the next school board elections? Is there any way to stop this waist of our money before they pave the football field?
