If you knew Jake you would know he did his time which was 6 months not 2 and was on probation and house arrest for a year and successfully completed it and DIDNT VIOLATE! Has he been in trouble in almost 3 years since he did his time? No. How many times has yours? Obviously if he violated he messed up again. They just dont violate someone for nothing! Stop crying because as it looks the public is happy for Mr Downeys choice and as others have said they are a great team and have brought the sheriffs department a long ways in 8 years!!

To The Idiot Protesters of Gregg Twp, Does it ever occur to you that we are tired of hearing you bitch and complain. Do you think we the people of Washington Twp and City of Martinsville enjoy seeing our Paramedic ambulance heading out to Gregg Twp, Morgantown, Paragon, or Green Twp when nobody else has had to sign a contract with them? No we dont because it take OUR ambulance that WE paid for out of service. But we dont complain and raise a big thing about it and make ourselves look like the villiage Idiots! We understand that if someone needs a ambulance or the fire department needs more help with engines and tankers out there that our sources are going to help yours. So why does it matter if Gregg Twp has a ambulance and respondes outside of its boundaries every once in awhile? You should be glad you have them not crying over pocket change! Well hope you dont need a ambuolance, Concerned Idiots of Gregg Twp because you just may have to way 25-30 minutes now and thats if the ambulances here arent busy! It would suck if they were all busy in Martinsville and Mooresville wouldnt it, when you have one right there collecting dust in the Garage because of idiocy!

Moortuckian well said and nice homework done!! Wilbur how about we keep EMA and put some of them through medic class like they have asked. The Council and commissioners dont wanna give up any of the money they have stashed for medics like they should. EMA could have a BLS truck staffed 24/7 with a medic chase truck for ALS runs. You would think the county would want to keep the EMS under them and not sell it out to a private ambulance that will charge a arm and leg like 2000 dollars on a regular basis. Rural Metro is always doing nursing home runs to the hospital and back. Granted I understand some of them need a medic but 95% are check ups! Then you have them running to Indy and back all the time. Its a shame our Commisioners and Council wont get off some money and try and expand our County Ambulance and keep it Local!

Well i have to throw the Bullshi* flag on Dora the Explorer in Gregg twp. I think she wrote it and I think she meant it. Now that everyone is tired of her sh** and people are dieing because oof it and losing property she is feeling guilty. Kinda like a Murderer in a sense. You go out cap someone and run but in the end you realize you cant run no more and get caught. Gregg Twp is getting screwed on fire and ambulance protection because of 100 bucks a year more and because of a select few idiots who think they know it all. Not only did you take a paramedic and ambulance out of service but you made the unemployement rate go even higher!! Hope you never need a ambulance because just maybe the other ones who come there 20 mins away will be in service and not protecting the people who pay for them. If I was every other twp in this County I would start sending contracts and bills out to Gregg twpo for there services when they are asked about and for. Every ambulance needs to start charging a flat fee to the TWP for everytime they respond to Gregg twp. Then we will see how Dora and her puppets like all the finance charges and bills!!
