Sorry, my comment should state that a faith based business can be successful.

I too would welcome a Chick-fil-A in Martinsville. Not only is their food some of the best around, it would also be an economic boost to the community and even more proof that a faith based can be successful.

Marcia was my English teacher many years ago and I agree, she is a great lady! Very caring and always willing to go that extra mile for her students. And I too know the pain of losing a pet. Marcia will be in my prayers.

A very sad story indeed. How could a mother steal from her own daughter? Money that was set aside for her future at the time of her fathers's death. This is about as low as you can get. I'm afraid it will take mom a good long while to "pay back" what she took.
Jim Bowyer arrested on arson charge in Nashville Opry fire

What a sad story. I remember going to the Nashville Opry many years ago and it was a wonderful experience. The Opry was the only place in central Indiana at that time to see live country music stars and they had the very best.
I don't know Mr Bowyer but I do know Esther Hamilton. At one time we were on a bowling league together. It sounds like both Mr Bowyer and Esther have a real gambling problem. Going to the casino to lose more money when you have only $343 in the bank? I would have thought that Esther would do a better job handling her finances considering all of her years with the Morgantown bank and the fact that she and her first husband owned and operated a successful business for several years. I hope it is proven that Esther knew nothing of the plan to burn the building but I doubt it. So sad, not only are their lives messed up now but Nashville lost a big attraction that night in 2009 and country music fans suffered a blow as well.

Boy I wish I was earning the "average" wage of $17 an hour, I'm not even close.
