Mother charged with stealing trust money

well 1st off,this article contradicts itself; "The daughters each received $408,750. At that time, Brittany Massey was five years old and Tasha Massey was six months old. The money was to be placed in separate trust accounts under the control of the circuit court. Williams was appointed guardian over the accounts and was limited to spending money only with approval from the court." Only with approval of the court,hmmm,so the court approves the outgoing money,and then says she stole it???Also,stole 350,000 and 500,000???Yet the total that went to the girls was 816,000(408,000 each)??? She supposedly stole more than the amount they had?Doesnt add up. And it says Brittany recieved her amount in full.By the way for all of you judging the family,try being in your early twentys,having your husband of only 5 years ripped away from you in a tragic car accident,while having a 4 year old at home and being PREGNANT!This family has wounds that go way deeper than money,and I wonder if the 'concerned citizen' who wrote the letters,has a clue what they have done and how it affects the other family members.

West Middle School locked down after misidentification

Wow Liberty,do you talk to everyone as if they are an idiot?I quoted you correctly,and I read the prior post you were replying to as well.No need to show me what you said in 'red',duh! I think you like to hear yourself talk,and anyone that disagrees with you or post facts pertaining to this situation(the school shooting) causes you to start spewing things totally irrelevant to this topic.(child molestors,wow thats relevant to this,NOT!) And as for examining my parenting skills,lets do that,shall we? My husband and I have been married 24 years,I was in the USAF for 4,he for 23.I have been a stay at home mom since my child was born.I have taught my child the 'signs' of child molesters since age 3.(by the way for someone who doesnt have kids,is a bit of a conspiracy theorist,and knows alot about child molesters,you kind of fit the bill yourself)My child excels at academics,sports,and leadership.And my husband and myself have both served our country so you could have the freedom to put your cretinous opinions on this site.I would be glad to meet you for coffee to further discuss this issue,but I think you like to hide on the boards,just like you hide behind your username.

1st off,well said M-ville parent.As for Liberty who said"Who do you think controls your childs thinking ? What aren't your children telling you out of fear of punishment ?" Wow,if he/she seriously thinks that ANYONE can 'control'the thinking of 12-14 year old,I'm pretty sure he/she has never had a 12-14 yr. old.I am a parent of a student at West.My child who attended a non-union,dod school until 5th grade,is doing great at West.The teachers are awesome as well as the staff.They handled the situation remarkably well.The parents who think that this could have been prevented,well yes it could have,if the parents had raised this child better.Sorry parent of alleged shooter,but where did this expelled student get the gun??? Not at the school.Do any of you realize how little teachers are paid,considering they are caretakers of our children?And those staff members put our childrens needs above their own that day.School shootings are a very rare occurence,theres more chance of a tornado hitting a school than a shooting.There have only been 109 in the U.S. since 1966,including universities.So to think they couldve predicted it because of a threat,yea right.Thousands of threats are made every year at american schools,compared to 109 shootings in 45 years.Do the math.Hey parents, if you dont like the staff and admin. at West Middle,guess what?This is america,you can homeschool,or better yet move,or send your child to private school.Cant afford it,under 42,join the military,they house you and your kid/s.Ahh but the parents that complain about the staff dont want to actually make any changes in their lives,they just want to blame.Only 19 schools out of the 109 did not have any casualties.West is one of the 19. I'd say their staff acted quickly,and we should be happy to have them.
