| Rational Wednesday, December 8, 2010: 9:04 am | One mistake this small should not alter someone's life and lively hood forever. I do NOT believe this should be career ending for Officer Hollis. He is a great officer and has a spotless record. He has been an asset to this community and treats everyone with respect. Might I remind everyone, You were not there and absolutely do not know what took place or any of the details. But, I forgot I was talking to people who are perfect and have never made any mistakes! He has already paid the price. I am praying for you Officer Hollis! Trust God! He's got this! |

| Rational Thursday, October 14, 2010: 6:32 am | WOW! You people are unbelievable! You want to hang everyone that makes one mistake! This child clearly needs help, not prison or the chair! He is clearly mislead and needs someone to come to his rescue! This is exactly why I moved my children from this horrible town! You people are narrow minded. This whole town is dying on the vine! Instead of constantly passing judgment, how about offer some suggestions or resources on how you can help this young man and his parents! It really does "take a village to raise a child". I am just thankful Martinsville is no longer my village! |

You are completely uninformed and making an absolute fool of yourself! Officer Hollis had paid for a campsite for the night. He walked to the concert and had no intention of driving home. By the way, he was not in his commission. |

You obviously do NOT have a clue how the justice system works! Officer Hollis absolutely does not think he is above the law. Again you were not there nor do you know the facts which have been completely ommitted from the "distorter-times". |

| Rational Thursday, September 30, 2010: 3:30 pm | Apparently Hamilton County can overlook the disorderly and resisting charges! His record will only show a PI....You can not punish someone for something there is no record of. How come we all assume that it was Officer Hollis that was acting foolish and believe everything you read in the paper. Maybe it didnt happen quite like the paper said.....HMMMMMM just a thought! ARSE....I do appreciate the fact the you are PERECT and have never made a mistake in your adult life. It's refreshing! It gives us all hope! |

| No charges against officers in Taser incident | |
| Rational Tuesday, June 22, 2010: 3:18 pm | I agree mcbacker! But Capt Jennings will escape charges, ONCE AGAIN! The issue is not the taser, it IS the physical act of smacking the child in the mouth! Legal definition of Assault and Battery Two separate offenses against the person that when used in one expression may be defined as any unlawful and unpermitted touching of another. Assault is an act that creates an apprehension in another of an imminent, harmful, or offensive contact. The act consists of a threat of harm accompanied by an apparent, present ability to carry out the threat. Battery is a harmful or offensive touching of another. |

| Rational Tuesday, June 22, 2010: 2:58 pm | I am absolutely NOT related to either of these officers! Officer Johnson acted on his own and did what he was trained to do. Capt Jennings should be demoted and needs to retire. There is no excuse for slapping the child in the face! But again a jury of YOUR peers decided NEITHER of them will be prosecuted! There are aboslutely no LAWS that say a child cannot be tased! You should contact the Tazer company and voice your complaint with them! Cant wait for Officer Johnson to be back out on the street! He is a great cop! And none of you know what they deal with on a daily basis! You are all self righteous! |

| Rational Tuesday, June 22, 2010: 2:49 pm | At what point when the officers arrived upon the scene were they briefed on the child's medical background? They were called to the scene of an "out of control" child. How are they supposed to know this child's entire medical history? Where's the accountability for the horrible parents? If this child was not "special needs" would you people still be concerned? I agree whole heartedly that Capt Jennings has reached his expiration date with the PD! But Officer Johnson did not render this child unconscious! He did nothing wrong! This child was a threat and danger to others and most inportantly, to himself! And can we show less of the toothless mother who hasnt seen her son in 10 years on the news! Geez! Where have you been MOM? |

| Rational Tuesday, June 22, 2010: 11:31 am | Liberty, you repeatedly make it sound like this a mentally retarded child who has absolutely no knowledge of his own actions! He is "special needs" because he has awful parents who were no where to be found until the dollar signs appeared. This child is a product of his environment and it's TOTALLY the responsibility of parents and the foster mother! If you don't want the police to handle a situation for you, THEN DONT CALL THEM! You people have aboslutely nothing to complain about! It was the fine citizens of Morgan County that chose NOT to prosecute these officers! You people wanted a voice and you had one! |

| Rational Monday, June 21, 2010: 10:13 pm | Diadlo! You are truly a piece of work! You know absolutely nothing about either of these situations! None of these officers believe the are above the law. "Good Ol Boy" never once used the "I'm a cop" thing. Again, you have absolutely no idea what you are talking about. All of these cases would never have made the paper if it were IMPD officers! AS a matter of fact, on March 11th, IMPD also tazed a child! Did you hear about that! No, You did not! Because there are absolutely NO policies to support tazing a child is illegal or againist PD protocol! It is not lethal force! Your own peers on the jury chose NOT to prosecute either of these officers! So you can thank them! Liberty! Why would Officer Johnson offer a resignation when he did nothing wrong or outside the scope of his duties? Makes no sense to me! |
