Oh, by the way. True Christianity is NOT a religion. It's a way of Life. A personal relationship with Christ. A life changing experience. So I guess you don't want your daughter to experience it. There will be a day when you will no longer be on the this earthly plane. Maybe she will have the right to choose then. I will be praying for you. A life without Christ is not a life. It's an exsistance. There is a God. I have no doubt about it.

Another Madiline O'Hare. What a shame. With the way society is, they still want the Bible out of schools. Lady you may be a "secular humanist" but one day you will stand before a Almighty God, and you will have to give an account of what you have done. I would not want to be in your shoes. If a person wants to join a Bible Club in school they should be able to do so. My High School had one called the " Thee Club" and it was just like the band or student council etc. We even met during school hours when the other clubs had their meetings. We had over 90 members who were in the club. Yes, it was a public school in Florida. You will find out just being a good person WON'T get you into Heaven. Shame, shame, shame.

If is wasn't for WRE here in Morgan County I would not be in the ministry. It had a great influence on me when I went to Poston Road School back in the 60's. As a matter of fact, it was my favorite part of school. I have been in the Ministry 31 years now. I preach and also play & sing Southern Gospel Music. We need to keep this program going. RevTJCarter Friday, April 20, 2012: 10:59 pm	I hope they get rid of the musty smell in the movie theater. I am also glad they are up-grading the equipment. I was a projectionist in a six-room theater for 5 years in Florida. I have used projectors as old as 1930 era, up to the newer ones with platter systems. Running six projectorsa at one time is a real challenge but it was fun. May you have much success in your new business venture.

County council reinstates EMA funding for ambulance

Its about time the Morgan County Council came to their scenses. The EMA ambulance is badley needed just like it was when I was a EMT for them 20 years ago. With the average ambulance run with Rural Metro from the square to the hospital is about $ 1,000.00. Even 20 years ago our response times were not real good but at least we got there. All of our cews were volunteers and we felt honored to serve the people of Morgan County. Morgan County needs this service and the tax payers deserve it. Even a BLS service can be a life saver when its needed. We were lucky that during the flood of 2008 there were no deaths in Morgan County that I am aware of. One never nows when a disaster can strike again. Anyway the Councils decision was a good one.

Will world end in 2012?

There on msny other signs of the times you did not list, such as the gay rights movement, turning from the natural plan of God and the countlees killings of babies by abortion. All these things predicted by God's word. The world is becoming worse than Sodom and Gomorrah and judgement is to soon come. That Earthquake on the east coast awhile back was just a warning of things to come. " God is jealous and the Lord revengeth, and is furious; the Lord will take vengence on his adversaries and he reserveth wrath for his enemies. The Lord is slow to anger, and great in power, and will not acquit the wicked: The Lord hath his way in the whirlwind and the storm, and the clouds are the dust of his feet: Nahum 1:2-3. The day is soon coming !

Council cuts EMA ambulance service

This is a shame. The EMA has served the people of Morgan County for many years. I was one of their EMT'S about 25 years ago. I volunteered my services. Rural Metro is macking a lot of money. I have a friend who was charged over $ 1,000.00 for a ambulance run from the Square to Morgan Hospital. This friend only required basic life support. That is outrages. I am sure their are many more such cases. EMA has always been there to fill the gap. To put them out of service is a injustice to the people of Morgan County ! It is a mistake that will cost lives someday. !

KKK threatens suit after citation

Don't take me wrong but I believe in the right to free speech. Even some street preachers have gotten into trouble over their right to pass out Gospel Tracts. It is a sad thing all together. But to preach hate in the name of Christ is wrong. Christ spoke of love. Hate the sin, but love the sinner. Mr. Buhls I will pray for you that your eyes will be open to the truth of God's word and not the hate that you have been taught.

KKK threatens suit after citation

I think he should be charged with a hate crime not littering. Its a shame that there are still such people out there. They are not the voice of CHRISTIAN White America not even close to it. Smoke-free advocates urge economic strategy

My wife of 12 years lost her battle with Small Cell Lung Cancer on April 14, 2011. Her name was Lois Carter. I my self have Asthma. I know after watching her suffer especially the last two years with her cancer that that smoking needs to be banned in all public places. I have never smoked. It is time the the people and leaders of Martinsville realize that now is a time for a smoking ban in all places that serve food and other public places even the nursing homes. We have known many years that smoking causes cancer. Will it take seeing the death of a loved one before something in done about it.
