It is time for Dictator Weaver to leave. I don't mind if it is a private meeting since only Precinct Committeeman can vote. I do however disagree with him contacting his picks to file. His picks have been off for sometime. He always has plenty to say in front of an audience, usually very wrong. I also agree that he doesn't like the face to face thing at all. He has done more damage to the local Republican party than any group could have done. His leadership, or the lack of, has been a total joke.

They do not attend the law enforcement academy, which is required for the full time officers. The jail employees are special deputies wich only have powers during the work time, they only attend jail school.

The last thing they need to do is give Downey more money. Why don't they watch what he spends. All I have read is the Sheriff asking for more money. Now he needs even more money. Look how many new vehicles have been purchased this year. They were not police vehicles, or at least not all of them. Dispatch personnel with take home car. Jail supervisor with take home car, and yes both brand new. Maintenance man take home vehicle???? Yeah, I'm confused too. I think the only people with take home vehicles should be our law enforcement officers whom might be called out for emergencies.

If he felt as stronly as he stated, then he would have continued in his position and fought for his cause. Then again, what was said as he ran for Councilman and what he is saying now differs quite a bit.

Why can't the Commissioners do exactly what the company they paid,told and/or advised them to do? One Commissioner, maybe more are concerned because no elected officials will serve on the 9-1-1 Board. The elected shouldn't and the most convincing evidence is the lack of the elected Commissioners to make a decision. This matter is taking entirely to long. The Sheriff (elected) will sadly be on this board. When the elected officials are appointed to these boards nothing gets done. They are to focused on getting elected instead of doing what it right. Someone please wake up and do the right thing.

I commend Chief Davis for supporting his officer. I also know that warnings are not acceptable when it comes to seatbelt or child restraint violations. It is sad that this had to happen, but maybe the answer is taking a caravan to the ice cream shop. As for Sheriff Downey it would be nice to see him do something other than straddle the fence. He knows warnings are not acceptable. Well, maybe not.... but he should know.

I fully support change, but Elliot is not that he is controlled by the current office holder and the his party chair. So no, I don't believe he will be change at all. I did say vote Democrat, which would be hard for me. I just don't believe that there is a good Republican cadidate for this office. I don't however remember saying I supported Adams, I just didn't think Johnson was the answer. On the other hand I don't know why I'm trying to explain to a guy who now says he will run on yet another ticket (3rd), not sure you really know what your doing!
