Seems intentionally failing IQ tests would be pretty simple. Pruitt holds not one redeeming factor and having failed to invoked his legally determined punishment is, in itself, a travesty.

I truly believe the R-T sometimes intentionally publishes non-sensical, controversial op-eds, this time from an unidentified source, just to stir up the locals.

This author's stance on gun control is like fancy French undergarments...there ain't much there and, what there is, is full of holes.

ikb2,
Then the school board needs to remove every administrator at the high school. Those working there daily had to have known, or should have known, of the situation. As far as my daughter, I had no concerns. She is a very well adjusted, mature, responsible, intelligent young lady. We discussed it as far as her personal safety, but, believe it or not, I don't use my children as informants, that's not their job.

As you stated, you know who I am. If you'd like to discuss this topic personally I'd be glad to meet for a Coke and we can solve all the world's problems.

Without getting into particulars, the act of filing criminal charges requires the finding of proble cause...an employer forbidding an employee from engaging in questionable practices while at work does not. It's the difference in criminal law, proof beyond a reasonable doubt, and civil law, a preponderance of the evidence. I'm not saying the school administration, prior to Wolf's arrest, had enough to fire him, but they certainly had enough to prevent her from, alledgedly, having a key to his office, going to his office every day and using the coache's office as her personal dressing room. And, even after his being caught in a criminal act in her presence, they still refused to met out an appropriate punishment. Wolf violated his contract and should have been dealt with accordingly.

You bet I did. Law enforcement officials and Department of Child Services, initially. And, when I felt the incident wasn't being given the attention I believed it should, I contacted several news gathering organizations. BTW, none of this was done anonymously, they all had my name and contact information for follow-up. You'll not find me bashful when it comes to the abuse of a child.

For my thinking, I believe Furniss, all assistant supers, HS princpal, HS VP's, AD & Assist. AD should be removed from their postion. This was a long ongoing situation that they were aware of, or should have been aware of, and, in either case, knowing and not acting or being completely oblivious to the issue, they failed as the proper administration of the school district's business, therefore, incompetent. I'm not giving the school board a pass, either, but I do want to know who was aware of what, and when they were aware of it. It is way past time to clean our house.

Cheers for the R-T to finally STEPPING-UP and jeers for the R-T for FINALLY stepping-up. It is a shame that it took a personal/professional affront to a paper staffer for them to garner the guts to do what's right. Don't get me wrong, I'm for whatever force is necessary to remove Furniss. He is, in my opinion, an ineffective and inefficient administrator for the salary he receives. The best part is, once he is gone, we can drop the expensive high rish automobile insurance the school district, aka TAXPAYERS, must endure for his ability to drive a corporation vehicle. Please, take your band of cronies with you and don't let the door hit ya where the Good Lord split ya.

I can only chuckle as I read this ridiculous story. All of this occured on your watch, Mr. Costin. You and the rest of the MSD School Board. The first step in this process is for you, and your fellow board members, to apologize for allowing the situation to reach this point. When I see your apology, I'll believe you're sincere in your efforts...and not just trying to cover your hindsides. Step up or step down, Sir.

I take issue with Costin's remarks that Wolf's retirement was his regardless of the outcome. I believe, and I could be mistaken, that if Wolf had been terminated, he would have been emtitled only to the funds he had deposited into the fund, not a life-long pension. Regardless, resignation is too good for Wolf. His personnel record should be stammped TERMINATED.

Sadly, this portion of the investigation is over. On to the next...

At the very, very, very minimum, Wolf surely violated his contract and should be fired, not retired, and denied his pension. For years he's been screwing the tax payers while he pocketed $100 as, in my opion, he was molesting one of our children.

In other words, the school administrators have complete culpability in this situation. I hope Furniss and the rest of his minions not only lose their jobs, but are prosecuted vigorously. Time to clear the cupboards of the superintendent and all the assistant supers, along with the high school principal, his vices and the athletic director and his assistant. They've failed miserably and need to go!

Don't waste your time calling the school administration building. Call the members of the Board of Education directly and demand an EXTERNAL investigation. The members are Stephen L. Hardin, Ken Costin, Charles Sampson, Tammy Hamilton and Chuck Smith. Along with these elected officials, call the Prosecutor, Steve Sonnega. All the venting and ranting on this blog won't cause any change unless we apply pressure to those at the top of the food chain.
