And I think this is one of the most important points: No matter how many bad surgeries or acts of drunkenness, the CEO, the board, and the medical staff of the hospital allowed him to continue to practice. |

I am speaking a year and a half later, since I just found this article, but I offer my full support to the children of Mrs. Pressler, and may Dr. Reynolds, the master of intimidation along with his hospital buddies, be punished to the fullest extent possible. |

"Nobody important"-I guess not. Tomato, toe-mott-toe. You obviously and probably intentionally missed the point with your little definition game. Definition of slander in Legal Dictionary at Webster-dictionary.org: Slander- The defaming a man in his reputation by speaking or writing words which affect his life, office, or trade...etc. Note also that those posting should read the Reporter-Times terms of use regarding the posting of damaging comments about individuals. |

I agree. It appears to me that this board action was simply a parting dirty trick by Dr. Boyer against her partner Dr. Polar as she prepares to set up business across town. Interesting that she apparently didn't have any complaints about Dr. Polar as she served in her position of Chief of Medicine at IU Health Morgan Hospital. We all support Dr. Polar and give him a vote of confidence. |

This comment has nothing to do with the contents of the article. And what is this so-called "federal BS" that keeps patients from receiving "needed medical care?" Also, is Mr. Searcy therefore claiming that a person receiving a narcotics prescription in the driveway, without undergoing an examination, from a physician whose license has been suspended, is good and appropriate medical care? Why don't we all skip going for legitimate medical care and just buy some pills or "scripts" on the street? |
