Four helicopters called to accident scene

The story in the paper said the first children flown to downtown Indianapolis were treated and released. Who decided to fly them there when clearly nothing was wrong and there is an IU emergency room 3 miles from the accident? Who pays for the bird? Just curious, sounds like a serious knee-jerk overreaction or someone trying to drum up revenue for Statflight.

Current management of this hospital seems to ONLY care about the bottom line. Doctors who take care of the people want patient care to be at least an equal factor. We are seeing the result of the different priorities.
So, as a community, who do we side with? The administration, probably very concerned about their compensation program, or the doctors who actually look us in the face and discuss OUR health and future?
Hard choice?

Why has this subject suddenly been dropped? Clearly all the comments have been negative towards the action of the hospital. Lets see, this paper is now owned by a Bloomington Paper, right? And Morgan Hospital is now owned by IU. Wonder if this newspaper is as corrupt as most of the national media, dropping a story that doesn't agree with it's view of the world? Just asking.

Dr. Boyer is my doctor and never suggested I needed to change anything. I do not believe anything Laux or the Board says. They have been only interested in extracting as much money from me and other Morgan County residents as possible. They do not respond to community concerns or needs. They would not even acknowledge a letter I sent asking why I had to drive to Greenwood to get my insurance paid blood test. Their answer is to pay $400 out of my pocket for their overpriced lab. Before Laux, the blood draw was done locally. If Dr Boyer has to move her practice 30 miles to get away from Laux & company, I will drive the 30 miles.

Isn't this kind of useless. You don't say what a level 3 travel advisory is. You don't say when it is in effect.
