No, I think that would be a crazy rule! In my own opinion, I just believe that in ones everyday life and/ or employment being in the situation that Mr. Wilson and Mr. Ferguson are in the influence of PD being their main employer or family being the mayor that there is potential for their judgement and decisions to be clouded. If we as a community want accountability and no longer the "good ole boy" system the cycle has to be broken at some point. I think that this is a perfect time to get a new board member in place with no doubt of any possibility of judgement being clouded..

Nobody important I believe their is a relationship between our local PD and school system. Over the last several years there has been misconduct in our schools reported to our local PD and it was for whatever reason covered up or not handled properly. The mayor is over the police dept. That is why I personally believe it is a conflict with Brad Wilson and Ryan Ferguson being elected. I personally know both Brad Wilson and Ryan Ferguson and think that they are great people but, for this position at this time in our society we need to make the separation. (Sorry for the run on sentences :))

I am excited that there are 3 fresh new names on the ballot for this district. I am wondering if Brad Wilson or Ryan Ferguson are smart choices, if we are wanting Change for our students. Ryan is the grandson of the mayor and Brads'employment is with the city Police Dept. I just think that there is possiblity of a conflict of interest with these positions and this newly elected school board member. If we want to take a stand we need NO conflicts of interest!

Township cuts clerk pay, benefits
cityliving Thursday, June 30, 2011: 11:35 pm	Pretty shady... "Cut" the clerks pay, but we are adding another part time person from the City Clerks' office.. Come on Scotty, run your own office. Pretty Disappointed!!
