nobodyimportant, I was only asking for the overall record. was it 18-0, 18-1, 18-2, etc. I just have been noticing that a lot of sports stories that appear here often do not contain the current record of the team. As a former student at MHS, I would like to know what the team record is. The only petty person here is you, because you are obvious too much like your post name to realize that I was only asking a simple question, not making a critique. Next time read into it what it actually says not what you want it to say.

Boys' sectional games highlight week

For all its tradition (especially in basketball), Indiana is a backwards state when it comes to pairings for sectionals. Blind draws to choose who gets a bye!!!! Who in charge is too oblivious to the fact that regular season records should count for more than just a stat. Why aren't the better teams getting the byes that they deserve for having a better record than all others in their section? I guess the same "braintrust" that decided it was better to have more basketball state champions(instead of one) are the same ones who can't figure out that a team should be rewarded for a successful season.

Jerry Sichting to coach Martinsville boys' basketball team

Doesn't matter if Sichting is just finishing out the season for the Artesians or not, he is a good choice. Quality individual while he was with the Minnesota T-Wolves. Just heard (on Monday- before the Wolf thing came to light) an interview with him on local Minneapolis radio. Articulate, inspired, dedicated. He talked about Martinsville alot, can tell that he has fond memories of his hometown and is doing this not for ego but for the love of it. Those of you who do not understand this, do not understand the legacy of a decent person.
