I think the comments I just read are so thoughtful and right on target. I hope people will remember this and someone along with Pastor will run for school board next time. The whole system is broken, everyone in a position above Wolf should go, people should demand their resignation. They obviously covered for him for a long time. Some of them have skeletons in their closet. The sad thing is that they have given the example to the kids to take the easy way, its quicker, its easier, its cheaper. Don't stand up against evil, don't do the right thing. Choose expediancy. If the founding fathers had that attitude we'd still be under a King's rule. Disgusting. Keep fighting and keep pushing to rid this district of the men who let our kids down.

I am having some trouble figuring out how to directly respond to comments on this site but I agree my last statement was not stated very clearly. I can't say what was in the shooter's heart, only God can know that but when people so freely just "forgive" someone and look for excuses and want to let them off with a lesser punishment, I worry that we are diminishing the crime and denying the presence of evil and other people will not be deterred from a similar crime.

There you go. There is the problem. People who accuse the prosecutors and judges who are trying to protect us from evil of being worse than someone who would take a weapon and at close range shoot an unarmed young person twice, not once, twice in the stomach, obviously aiming to kill him. Rehabilitate? Seriously. And if that happened he would be out and he would kill the next person that thwarted his desire. And it will be another innocent person. Forgiveness has a fine line between giving God the right of judgment and enabling evil.
