I so agree Annabelle. I have been asking one of the candidates for school board about the rumor he had some fraudulent issues at his employment and after hearing this same person on WCBK the other night touting his honesty, integrity and wanting to make a change I am floored. Spanky you know others as well as myself have asked about issues we've heard but you stay silent. I can't vote for someone that blows his own horn but yet won't come clean about his own record. You should withdraw from this election and clean your own house. The last thing we need on the school board is a BULLY! You know who you are!

I think it is more than fair that we find out everything there is to know about a candidate before voting. From what I've seen and heard, he is always touting that he has no problem with anyone knowing who he is when he has a problem with something.

Hey Conservative, I bet you weren't at the Varsity football game on Friday night at Mooresville when the team had to play in deplorable conditions because it poured down rain the whole game and it was like swimming in mud rather than playing football. Thank goodness we gave a turf field and will never have to worry about that at home games. I just bet you don't even have a child in the school system but want to complain about everything since you never answered my earlier question to you. People like you drive me nuts!

Conservative, just wondering if you have any children in school? If so, how many school events do you attend? If not, do you attend any school functions (i.e., athletic events, music programs, open houses, etc.)? You say we need a change, well have you actually looked in depth at the incumbents? I know FOR A FACT that Mr. Sampson has attended many of these functions yearly. He does care about the kids in this community and would go to bat for any of them in a heartbeat! In my opinion, new does not mean BETTER! Just the way I feel.

The ONE school board meeting he attended he made a comment that he didn't care what it cost the taxpayers just so he could stamp Wolf's file as terminated. He also ran for City Council not long ago. I understand that Home Bank likes their employees to be active in the community so I'm wondering if that is the push for him to keep running for elected offices. I don't feel like he has the maturity yet to take on this position. Maybe in a few more years he would be a better candidate. Besides I know he has a small child and this position should be one where the member should be visible at many school functions.

I don't think it is wrong of you to ask a very relevant question about a candidate that is vying for a position that makes significant decisions regarding our children. A persons' character means quite a lot when making that kind of decision.

mcbacker Friday, March 16, 2012: 10:44 am	$1000.00 for two hours of time with an attorney would mean that the attorney charges $500.00 per hour which is seriously high for an attorney in Indy much less an attorney from Columbus. I think that is way too high an amount to pay for some training. I would not be happy if I lived in Washington Twp.

It has happened two weeks in a row now. I sure don't want something to happen at the school since I DO have a child there, but I also don't want a bunch of kids moving around and accidentally trigger something either. It is a no win situation that I'm sure is being addressed. I wish that people is this community that complain about everything wrong and that they want fixed would actually volunteer to help correct things instead of bashing people and complaining all the time. This community needs to come together instead of tearing each other down. In otherwords, start acting like ADULTS!

Just so you know, a couple of Saturdays ago there was a soccer game and a freshman football game going on and the National Anthem was played for the start of both contests. Were you at that game? You sound like you just want to keep the pot stirred instead of making it possible that everyone enjoy the facilities. I'm sure things will be worked out.

In all honesty, I bet the announcer and others in the press box at the middle school game did not even think about how the music or loud announcing was affecting the soccer game. I do agree that they are all MHS athletes (even the middle school kids that were playing) and I want them all to do well.
