And why not....child molestation is apparently legal in Morgan County!
MSD school board accepts Wolf's resignation

Thanks to Mr. Wolf and the rest of the yahoos at the school and the school board, the negative connotations placed on our community have now been validated! From the disgusting, perverted acts of a 65 year old retiree, to the unbelieveably biased and poor decision making at the school board, it is obvious that we have a bunch of complete idiots in charge!
Law leaves gray area in student, teacher sexual relationships

What is wrong with this child's parents?? Seriously? According to the town it is no secret who she is anyway and I have heard that she boasts about it at school so I don't really get the whole embarrassment thing. They should be at the prosecutors office demanding punishment to the fullest extent! UNREAL! Lack of parental responsibility and abuse of one's position in the community are going to ruin this girl's life! The whole thing is sickening!

Sickening....still protecting the old guy. Maybe we should send this article to someone who would run with it...like Bill O'Reilly! Seriously! If the kid is in school they are a student. If you are 65 years old, you have NO business having any kind of a relationship with a 17 year old girl. Where are the parents in this battle? I would be livid as a parent. Also, why is Indiana law so screwed up? You are not considered an "adult" until you are 18 and cannot even have a drink until you are 21. How is it that you can consent to sex with anyone at age 16?
Martinsville basketball coach arrested for public indecency

It is not the responsibility of the students to police their teachers, coaches and administrators. The students are there to learn...not concern themselves with the soap operas that unfortunately take place at that school! I would feel very sorry for any student who did try to report something. I am sure that it would not be without consequence. It is really sad that a few in this community have ruined things for all of the good educators in our school system! We do have some very good teachers who do their jobs and care about education!

As said earlier....the investigation will have to go beyond our own administration in Martinsville, or he will be allowed to retire with full benefits and it will be pretty much the end of it. I feel sorry for the girl who has obviously been taken advantage of...and may not even realize it. I also feel awful for Wolf's wife. I am sure this has been horrifying! As for what people knew, I know that the kids in my son's class knew about stuff like this the whole time they were in school and no one said anything because...who would you tell anyway? They would have dismissed it and done nothing. I don't know that the other Wolf coaches were any better from some of the things I have heard, but again...hearsay. He should be fired with no benefits and I still think that he should serve time for taking advantage of his position as an educator and coach!

Not shocking...as many have said...he was always known to be a perv at school. Probably another case where the admin. chose to sweep it under the rug. Unreal! I certainly wouldn't want my son to be playing for someone like that either! If he is doing things such as that, who knows what else could be going on in the locker rooms etc! He needs to be fired immediately!

First game JITTERS??? Martinsville started the last 3 seasons with big wins. 31-6 vs THS, 54-6 vs Manual, and 37-7 vs Manual. I don't believe that there was any first game JITTERS.

So glad to finally see justice being served. It is very sad for the town Speaking Out. It seems as long as we have lived here, there have been issues like this. I am not quite sure why things have not been cleaned up. HOpefully, this will be a step in the right direction. Although, we still do have some pretty aggressive officers right now who seem to be harrassing residents to some degree. I think that traffic stops for minor issues are the least of our worries. We need the officers to be here FOR the people....not against them.

Totally agreed artiefan!! We have players that are being looked at by numerous colleges...from both the Junior and Senior classes. We have some great players and had some very positive things that should have been reflected. The senior class was a crucial part of a program turn around. The Junior class will continue to lead...and lead well next year and there were some very promising players in the Soph class who stepped up and played very well. They still had a winning season and have brought some excitement back to the program!

I also neglected to mention Millis and Smith's high ankle sprains as well, along with some untimely disciplinary actions against a few players that made them unavailable for play. Had the team been healthy the entire year, I am certain that the outcome would have been different. As it is, you had a lot of boys beat up but going out there every week to represent their school and our community. I give them kudos for that.

And again...not a good write up. I am going to assume that the writer has not played sports, or has no understanding of how multiple injuries to key players throughout the season can take a toll on the team as a whole. No mention of the fact that we lost William O'Neal who, at the time was leading the team in offense. No mention of the fact that Schoolcraft was nursing an injury the entire season, Shields and Callon with hand injuries. Clark with shoulder and ankle. Nice try, but again a very negative article.

Agreed!! We totally got hosed at the end of the game and nothing was mentioned of that. The boys played really hard despite major injuries. It is also all over the place and not in chronological order....and yes, we had some pretty major injuries and not much mention of it.

Sure, many people have done the same and gotten by with it...and no he didn't kill anyone...THIS TIME. It is a very serious issue and he could have easily hurt or killed someone. He was twice the legal limit. Also, we just had a huge issue at prom last year where several kids were expelled, suspended and kept from playing sports. Now, they will have a breathalyzer at the post prom. Will they be checking the school staff as well as the students? Just a thought. As far as his job goes, that is not for me to say. They will have to hand down some type of reprimand, but I am not sure losing his job is the answer.
