But how does collecting $52,000 ofset the $250,000+ that is paid out every year in overpaid wages? How many of the 450-500 runs does EMA actually transport? Bits and pieces do not tell the whole story.
EMA director to ask Morgan County Council to reinstate ambulance funds
voter
Sunday, February 5, 2012: 11:08 pm
from what i recall about this from the past, the county took the money that funded ema ambulance and gave it to the fire departments for them to take care of the ambulance issues there selfs. so if the townships want ema the should give there money to them to provide it.

Trout wants to continue offering skills to city
voter
Monday, April 11, 2011: 11:59 am
you say we need to spend to move forward:

That $40,000 to $44,000 per year job brought in about $3 million,” Trout said. “The return has been really good.”

A second achievement was in preparing for economic development, he said. Trout proposed putting money aside each year for property acquisition. For three years, the city has set aside $200,000 each year to create a fund that now has $600,000.

“When we get to $1.5 million,” Trout said, “that could be used to invest in an industrial park.”

then you say we need to cut back?

Trout said he has asked Mayor Phil Deckard not to replace retiring employees, unless those positions are essential. The fire department now has two vacant positions.

so define essential?
