| Liberty Thursday, January 7, 2010: 11:41 am More from Liberty | The Whitley Family have been protecting this community for many years because they truly care. We owe a debt of gratitude to all of them starting with their parents. Even when they make the prosecutor have to work harder than he wants and the criminal lawyers try to force them off of the clients back they keep coming and they don't let up or give into the lazy PC culture of letting criminal get off. Keep it up Tom. We can replace Mayors, Police Chiefs and Prosecutors. That campaign is easy enough but finding people with the protective and caring hearts that will put their lives on the line to protect us like the Whitley's do isn't as easy. Thanks Office Daniel Whitley |

Liberty, I hope you agree that the defense attorneys need to do everything within the scope of law to get their clients off if possible and as light a sentence allowed if aqquital is not possible. That is how our judicial system is set up. The last thing you should want is for the defense attorneys to be in collusion with law enforcement and prosecution. It is probably a moot point however, since these guys will probably get a court-appointed attorney and for the money they are paid, their motivation seems to be to get a plea agreement as soon as possible and close the case. On the positive side of that, plea agreements save the taxpayers bundles of money. Our courts are crowded enough as it is. |
| Gest Wednesday, January 13, 2010: 10:31 am More from Gest | I like how people are praising the Whitley brothers. Seems to me that one of them is in a little trouble himself and because of his actions has aloud several drug cases to be dismissed. Makes you wonder if his brother is following in his footsteps. |
| Liberty Wednesday, January 13, 2010: 12:58 pm More from Liberty | Since Tom Whitley's problems are centered around him arresting too many drug dealers that requires a prosecutor to have work harder. Why would someone come on here and slander a police officer who has kept druggie of the street and only a lazy prosecutor is complaining ? Unless they are one of those the Whitley's are looking for. That's the only reason that makes any sense. |
