Taken separately as issues, to cover those segments that the Republicans just recently have stood for, the premiums will have to go up for the same coverage, unless of course those high-risk people are pooled, as again the Republicans wanted. It is too soon to know if some of the cost-cutting measures and subsidies will off-set those increases. I am still confident that the bottom line for the vast majority will be better. Left alone, as the Republicans wanted to do until just the past 8-9 months, we were headed for a national disaster, preceeded by millions of bankruptcies caused by health care costs. At least there now seems to be a national concensus, as measured by what both parties are saying, that health care must be addressed. If this law doesn't do the job, I now take some comfort in knowing that whatever replaces it will. That is all I have ever asked for. |

Where is the government going to get the money to pay for all this free healthcare or subsidized healthcare? The claim that the government will reduce the deficit by $156 billion over ten years is laughable. Isn’t it true that the government racked up a deficit of $220 billion just last month? Read more. I think that in Canada, the first $10,000 is exempt fromj taxes and the top rate is 29% (over $120,000) One of the arguments has been whether or the system comes out of this reform will look like any of the models in other countries, including Canada. With our service models of the VA, Medicare and Medicaid, I would think our system would look more like one of those, IF (and a big IF) we went to a truely Government managed health care system, which will not happen under what just passed. |

Military expenses 607 billion, 41.5 percent of the money spent on military in the world. Healthcare expenses 2.3 trillion, before Obamacare. Terrorism, every chance they get. Unemployment (real unemployment) estimated at 16 percent. You think the lines are long in Canada with only 33 million.(Heck, we have that many undocumented people living in the USA. Which will sky rocket their premiums way past even the richest to afford. But Wait ! There's more ! If you read this within the next 5 minutes ( cause i just can't keep doing this all day ) I'll give you the outcome free ( minus shipping and dummy handling ). The designed plan to heavily force insurance companies they effectively demonetized out within three years ( maybe sooner) then as the saviour to the dummies bankrute the insurance company's in which each states medicad is forced to pay for what only dummies called national health care. Now even dummies can figure things out once in a while so by this design the CBO could only look at the cost to the federal government and not the trillions over time to the states. ( sell-able to dummies ) . And it may not spend FEDERAL DOLLARS on health care ( sell-able to dummies ) because it forces the states to provide for it. ( sell-able to dummies ). And guess who ends up with the bill. The rich , NO. ( The rich are the bosses and producers of this nation so all cost to them will naturally go back into the goods we buy.) Who then ? The dummies. Every dummy on the Masters dummies ghetto plantations, the dummy union workers , and the dummies victims like us. Today, Get you pad and paper our dummies and the dummies victims and mark down every tax and fee both big and small. All the fees and taxes on your house,car,utility,income,sales,park entrance,gas,cell phone, every single tax and fee you pay both federal and state. YOU MUST DO THIS NOW. Make a copy, frame and hang. Put the other in a safe spot. Within ten years they all will total at least double at which point you will be broke no matter how hard you work ( if you can find work). The nation of dummies will experience a long depression worst than the last time they heavily taxed and burdened and mild depression. And what will keep the Greatest Nation ever on the face of the earth from being able to recover. This time their will be no personal assets or companies to hire and make goods because the dummies government took them all. ................. Now back to the dummies present. No wonder WE"RE so well rounded!!LOL Secondly, I like stories with life lessons in them.....one was sent to me and here it is, An economics professor at a local college made a statement that he had never failed a single student before, but had once failed an entire class. That class had insisted that Obama's socialism worked and that no one would be poor and no one would be rich, a great equalizer. The professor then said, "OK, we will have an experiment in this class on Obama's plan". All grades would be averaged and everyone would receive the same grade so no one would fail and no one would receive an A.... After the first test, the grades were averaged and everyone got a B. The students who studied hard were upset and the students who studied little were happy. As the second test rolled around, the students who studied little had studied even less and the ones who studied hard decided they wanted a free ride too so they studied little. The second test average was a D! No one was happy. When the 3rd test rolled around, the average was an F. As the tests proceeded, the scores never increased as bickering, blame and name-calling all resulted in hard feelings and no one would study for the benefit of anyone else. All failed, to their great surprise, and the professor told them that socialism would also ultimately fail because when the reward is great, the effort to succeed is great, but when government takes all the reward away, no one will try or want to succeed. I agree with you, the unrest may come sooner than we think. One nut job could start it all. I can understand those that believe we need to fight in the streets. But I believe that has to be the last and ultimate measure. Every peaceful resolution must be exhausted first. There are three things I have no reservation to fight for; God, my Country and my family. The reason my Country is before my family is; I'll die defending the freedom of my children and my grandchildren. I'd just as soon die fighting for their future freedom than knowing they won't live free anymore. Having said that, our Constitution and Bill of Rights are set up to keep and maintain our freedoms. I hope and pray for peaceful a solution. I've said it before and I just can't let go of it. Low voter turn out and the ensuing results lay with each and every one of us. We can't blame this President for everything to date that is wrong with the Nation, although he sure is doing his share of damage. We have to blame ourselves as a people.
