It's a sad day in America. I hope folks get a grip pretty soon or we are going to be a completely different country. I hope that you are well. My guess though, is that you and I are living the same nightmare. Keep up the good fight, Liberty. |

The sad thing is Hoosier your list isn't even complete. I have to imagine so many just didn't know what their vote would really do. We as a nation didn't think this kind of thing could happen to the United States. Most don't even realize or understand what has happened. Sad. Keep up the good fight also, Fighting Hoosier. |
| A Hoosier Friday, March 26, 2010: 1:51 am More from A Hoosier | Lib, did you read this today? News Alert: Obama administration to order lenders to cut mortgage payments for jobless 06:02 PM EDT Thursday, March 25, 2010 -------------------- The Obama administration plans to overhaul how it's tackling the foreclosure crisis, in part by requiring lenders to temporarily slash or eliminate monthly mortgage payments for many borrowers who are unemployed, senior officials said Thursday. Washington Post Read more. Is this a hand up or a hand out? Although, I must admit that I can't stand the thought of so many being homeless and depreciation on property values. |
| A Hoosier Friday, March 26, 2010: 2:06 am More from A Hoosier | Lib, regarding my last post. If our real unemployment is 16 percent, that is 49 million Americans out of work. Who foots the bill for these mortgage payments? (JK, just kidding, I know the answer to that.) I guess my real question is, does he think America is a bottomless pit? That money grows on trees around here? He is going to have to stop spending money somewhere to pay for all these social programs. Compassion, empathy, and humanity, I preach them all the time but holy cow. Is the message, save a few and damn the rest? |

| Themanishere Friday, March 26, 2010: 10:19 am More from Themanishere | Hoosier and Liberty, Do you guys remember when the Government was scared of us the people? Believe it or not its true they used to be scared of us. Now its the other way around. Snake boy ( aka our pres) thinks he can just keep printing money and all will be fine. Well it wont as we see in this day of age. For every billion dollars printed I believe they said cost a millions. I have a few suggestions on how to save money. Park air force one for a few months! Stop going to other countries ( aka vacation ) on our dime. For every time he flies he has 2 other full size planes as decoys. Im not for people dieing but why is someone sitting on death row for 20+ years?? Why should someone be able to kill a child or adult and be able to have a roof over there head 24/7 and 3 meals a day on our dime? If they are found guilty give them 5 years max to exhaust there pleas and appeals! After that your done and God Bless there soul! When The President keeps giving out this bail out money why doesnt he give every person with a License the money or voucher to buy a new american made car? That could not only help the dealerships and economy but most cars now are so called green and cleaner for the enviromeant. It doesnt take a rocket scientist obviously to figure these things out. But thats ok because I believe he only has 1030 days left in office. Its bad when people are leaving there senate seat and house seats because they disagree with there own party! Im sure I will be slammed on all this but owell just food for thought |

I don't think so. Certain members wouldn't want the finger pointed back at them for their own questionable transgressions. |
| A Hoosier Friday, March 26, 2010: 11:03 am More from A Hoosier | Themanishere, I am happy to read that you too are interested in the state of our country. You keep thinking of ways to save taxpayer money and how to save our country. Thanks for your post. |

Themanishere, You and I have butted heads on here before. Reading this post and understanding what you are saying......I must say….. good post. If I may, I will say this, I don't know if the Government was ever afraid of us (I have no proof, and I'm not trying to disprove you either) but they did respect the people and held true to the values and principles upon which this Nation was founded. They knew they served the people of this great Nation, not that the people of this great Nation served them. When I'm serious, I try to express myself and my love for my Country with intelligent thought tempered with not just my passion but to some extent compassion. But I have to say this President, in his actions at home and abroad, lacks the class this Nation deserves from their elected leader. Disclaimer But believe us, we know he can be one of the biggest smart***es on here and he can be just as big a flamethrower with his words as anyone on here too. And we mean it!! The monkeys |

You are right on. I love my country and I fear our government. Thats the way it was designed to be. The problem now is for the first time in American history the elected president wasn't raised as an American and has NO patriotism for America. And the majority in the upper and lower house no longer considers their function as representing the electorate as a whole. We are in a Constitutional Crisis. The elected President is now running around making fun of the republicans ( half of the country population) as enemies to his will. This is scary. The states can circumvent the federal government and hold a constitutional convention on their own and pass an amendment to stop the Totalitarian Fascist take over. Stay, strong, informed and Tuned. |
