Amazing that this story wasn't deemed important enough to make the front page! This could have easily ended tragically, yet an article on mass transit 30 years down the road was more important?

Who said it was an imposter? Maybe this is one of our sheriffs gone rough. Sounds like he had all the equipment of an official officer. This is a 15 year old, I would think her desciption is pretty sound. Send this to all the mom's and dad's you know. Make sure your kids are aware of this person.

I agree!! This should have been on the front page. This is very serious. This happened close to Waverly Elementary. Were the administrators there notified about this?? Shame on you Reporter Times for not alerting us to this sooner! You sent a text message about a bunch of rednecks fighting at a funeral home but did not deem the presence of a child predator in our midst worthy of notification?!? Shame on you!!

This mite be the happy fireman who likes to use his blue light he mite have change the way he tries to stop vehicles now that he has been caught. This guy needs to be put off the fire dept. for sure. The want a bee couldn't make it as a real police officer
