Yup, provide the names, then take the officers into protective custody so we can house, feed, and bathe them while we pay them for doing such a fine job of protecting us from 10 yr olds. I am quite proud to live in Martinsville, and I'll be even more proud when our mayor doesn't blame this on the last administration, but instead fires these two and sends them packing out of town.

Why didn't the daycare call mom and dad to come pick their "wild child" up?

If these two are not fired for this kind of behavior I think the State Attorney General and Indiana State Police need to investigate the Martinsville Police Department.

Lower Taxes Less Gov said:
So lets get this right, Im just a parent with no special training. So If my child gets out of control and I Slap, Hit, grab roughly, push, pull or beat them. Its called Battery or CPS jumps in and cry's abuse, takes them away and Morgan countys finest takes me to jail. Think Ill go buy a taser and shock the hell out of them, LMAO when ever they get out of line. Need I say more.

I stopped spanking them around 10,they dont need it anymore. Started spanking them around 1 and now I have no need to. I did my job when they were young!
Not like these soft No NO Tommy or your going to timeout Types. That think a good ole fashion arse wippen is abuse! And we wonder why so many kids endup killing there parents because they were told they couldnt do somthing. Should have beat that arse when they were young!

One can only assume the other children seen or heard what happened. Trauma ? Most in day care are 6 and younger. I wonder if CPS will put the use of tasers on their OK list for parents now.

It's sad but the parent of all the children there may have a case against the city for the trauma the children went through, if they did. Then us taxpayers will have to pay for the settlements. With the national and local outrage the jury pool is prime for the list of attorneys slobbering while driving into town.

I see it was reported on Channel 13 news that it was Officer Jennings and Officer Johnson. The story will be reported on again at noon today. It looks like they are on administrative duty (whatever that means). I have a serious problem with all of this since I have a son around this age. First, I don't understand why the daycare continued to accept this child if he has issues with his behavior and is around other children that could be threatened. Were the parents called on Tuesday before the officers were called? How come two adults could not restrain a child without the use of a taser? If a parent had done this to their own child, that child would be in foster care and the parents would have already been criminally charged. This is just WRONG!

Channel 13 is reporting that is was Bill Jennings and Darren Johnson. Nothing is going to happen hear, Bill Jennings has been a loose cannon for some time. I personally am sending a complaint to the Indiana State Attorney General's office. Maybe if enough people do that they will investigate. These guys do not need to be police officers.

These punks must be prosecuted. If found out of uniform they should be taken to account in other ways by the towns people. I believe with time that this Jennings reputation will bury him. I hope they put him in the same jail cell with some of his victims. Just his existence on the force implicates the chief and others who knew of his previous problems.

Ok Liberty you are talking about the "victims" that Bill Jennings has put in jail how many are there really? Does that mean everybody that is sitting in the Morgan County Jail are all victims also not real criminals? Then that would count for every police officer who has arrested someone and put them in jail. Sounds to me like you have either had a run in with him yourself and or know someone who has. You can ask people in town that actually "know" him and you will find he is a respected police officer and a fair one. As far as him being a loose cannon I would like to know exactly what that entails. Yes several years ago he was "accused" of a crime he did not commit and was found innocent but I'm sure you know the whole reason behind that to. Until you have actually been a police officer and walk in their shoes everyday and put up with what they have to put up with you shouldn't judge. I believe everyone is "innocent" until proven guilty and with these cops being fathers themselves I'm sure they did what they had to do to get the situation under control before the child either hurt himself or others. Better yet how would you have handled it yourself? Not many people are talking about the daycare and why they allowed this child to keep coming back knowing the problems he had. Obviously the workers felt they and the the other kids in the daycare were in possible danger other wise why would the cops be called? I think we need to hear the "whole" story before judging these police officers on the actions they took.

We need a outside investigation on this. At the end of the day if an State or Federal agency does not investigated Chief Davis will be giving Jennings and Johnson a pat on the back and saying don't worry about it this will all go away in a few days.
