| Wilbur Friday, April 2, 2010: 1:39 pm More from Wilbur | A Hoosier, This child is a foster child. As a matter of fact he has no parents. He has guardians appointed by the State. He is a ward of the State of Indiana, you and I pay for his well being while the foster parents provide the semblances of a home. |
| A Hoosier Friday, April 2, 2010: 1:59 pm More from A Hoosier | Wow, what an empty world he must live in. Actually, it appears his world is full of rage and anguish. I wish I could take kids like this home with me and let them know that there is love in this world and plenty of it. It will probably be a long time before he will ever believe that. My heart truly aches for him. How does this happen? Pain and suffering on such a young person. Despair must be the only thing he sees. |
| A Hoosier Friday, April 2, 2010: 2:00 pm More from A Hoosier | BTW, Wilbur, Have a blessed Easter. Peace. |
| Liberty Friday, April 2, 2010: 2:15 pm More from Liberty | If I was a 10 year old "toss around" void of loving parents, I too may be acting-up and hating adults and after this I would hate them even more. This case has so many possible lessons taken from it. I guess the first one for me would be this child is a result of some kind of failure of a parent and system. Broken marriage ? or maybe this is another destructive result of parents on drugs ? I don't know but I'm sure we will find out. We need to understand how our actions are responsible for the actions of young people. How a mothers and fathers relationships for the child's sake is far more important that anything in their personal life. Another lesson may be that the actions of some policemen may be the unintended making of future customers so rethink the approach you use when dealing with young people. Sometime a hug may work better than a punch & taser. For me the only understandable action of anyone involved happens to be that of the child's. Their is nothing worst than the abandon heart of a child. |

| A Hoosier Friday, April 2, 2010: 2:29 pm More from A Hoosier | Liberty, very eloquent. This whole story makes me so sad. It is Easter. This boy should be in church with people who care about him. He should be hunting Easter eggs and looking for the prize inside. He should be sitting around a table filled with family, laughs, and love. Not nursing his burns and, more likely than not, his bruised little face. Have a blessed Easter, my friend. Peace. |

| Liberty Friday, April 2, 2010: 2:48 pm More from Liberty | Thanks Wilber and Hoosier. I pray that all who can see will look at the cross today as the greatest expression of Love ever shown to man. That all can see the payment for all their sins in life have been freely paid for if only they will turn to Jesus who accepts all who repents and follow his commands. His offer is open to all who will receive Him. Happy Easter and Thank You Jesus. . |
