By Johson's own admission, Bill was less than professional and in fact, a bully.

Such references incited me to react more forcefully than I should have on several occasions.

It does not surprise me that the two of you are friends, you have the same ideology when solving problems. Aggression.

QUOTE FDROM A HOOSIER:

They have admitted to striking this child and tasering him. What more do you need?

Parents should discipline their own children, you are correct. However, we cannot allow the police department personnel to become disciplinarians, it's simply not appropriate. If this were a 45-year old man and he had cursed at the officers, would it also have been appropriate to slap the 45-year old in his face. Absolutely not. This is called assault. Just because someone says something to you that you do not like does not allow you the freewill to hit him or her. If you do decide to strike someone for a comment, look forward to a jail cell, it will be in your future.

We cannot tolerate the public or police officers deciding what is appropriate punishment for our kids. Would you like it if the neighbor came over and paddled you because they did not like the clothes that you had on, maybe your skirt was too short or your pants hung too low. Some people find this offensive and would punish their own children for wearing garments like that. Some parents may not let their children watch television or use the Internet, would you like to have these opinions placed upon you? Haircuts, make-up, dating ages, curfews, the list are endless for examples.

How would it feel to you to have someone, not your parents, slap you in your mouth because they did not like the words that were coming out of it? How you like to be electrically shocked because you were extremely angry? I’m guessing you would not. I know for a fact that I would not be happy if either of these things happened. In fact, I would be down right irate.

GREAT COMMENTS A HOOSIER!

Dear Martinsville Citizen, Thank you. I am so mad about this that I could spit purple. We have to make our taxpaid employees accountable for their actions.

Have a blessed Easter.

Peace.

I think they should get a fair trial before we tare and feather them.

I for one have purchased a special Hot Dog stand to park out front of the court house during the nationally televised trial. I want to park it right next to all the satellite disc trucks. Look for my sign that will say " LIBERTY'S TASERED WEENIES ". I have developed a new way of instant hot dog vending that reduces cooking time and possible disposal of unsold precooked hot dogs. I just take them out for the frig and BAME, in the time it take to knock out a 10 year old I can taze an wiener and slap it on a bun. Because of the heavy turn out ( 300 for the trial and an expected 350 or more for the tare and feathering ) I expect to pay for all my equipment in just two days. So come on down and get one of " LIBERTY'S TASERED WEENIES ". I'm not sure if I can afford the pre-wired under-skivvies attachment or not. My guess the tare may be cheaper but not as fun to administer.

I will need to hire some help. Wanted ::: Looking for a 10 year Old feather boy to work the post trial festivities. $50 cash and free use of my turbo taser if needed to calm down anyone kicking and crying from over heated tare.

See ya all at the party.

Lib, you sound like Joe Biden. "They will be tried, they will be found guilty and they will be executed." You better be careful, the liberal may be coming out in you.

Peace.

The jury of public opinion has convicted the officers before knowing all the facts.

I have learned some FACTS that have not been released to the public, yet. I would suggest restraint of public crucifixion until ALL of the FACTS have been laid out. Past history of the officers and like or dislike of either one has nothing to do with the FACTS and I'm certain that the Sheriff's investigation will be FACTUAL and thorough and not based on speculation.

*The news media has done nothing but fuel the fire. They have fanned the flames and when they finally realize what kind of inferno they have created they then throw a Dixie cup of water at the problem. This local news media is nothing but embarrassing and pitiful.

So what are these FACTS so the public crucifixion will stop. How did you get the FACTS, is the Sheriff's Department only talking to you before they tell the general public, the news media, or even the Prosecutor. Did the Detective release the FACTS just to you, or are you just listening just to other peoples opinions, who say they know what happened. Put you money where your mouth is, or are you sworn to secrecy, which would be more corruption within these departments. I don't believe you.

I am normally very happy and proud to be an almost life long resident of Martinsville. However, no matter what the circumstances were I am ashamed of both the caregivers and the policemen involved in the incident. I find it very difficult to believe that between four full grown adults another solution couldn't have been found. I think the punishment to all the adults involved should be swift and sure. I can't even imagine how scared this child must have been. Again I say to all involved shame on you. The following list is from Dr. Phil on what age appropriate discipline should have been for a child of this age.

"4 to 12 Years

Effective:

•Positive Reinforcement

•Redirecting

•Verbal Instruction/Explanation

•Time-outs

•Establishment of Rules

•Grounding

•Withholding Privileges"

Once more shame on you all for not giving this child the understanding he so desperately needed.

I really don't give a crap whether you believe me or not. People are jumping to conclusions without all the FACTS which is typical of nearly every situation, everywhere today. How I know additional FACTS is none of your business. The facts will be checked by the investigating department. THANK GOD.
