Does this same thinking apply to school referendums? Let the people "in the know" make the decisions according to you. That is called drinking the cool aid, my friend. Two words: Fox and Henhouse My guess is that you didn't hear all the details because you closed your ears to any and all information that didn't come from the school board or school officials. Thankfully the majority of the people that went to the polls in May did their research and found out the truth and voted accordingly. If they do the same thing with the school board candidates there won't be a problem. |
| Living In Reality Friday, April 9, 2010: 10:11 am More from Living In Reality | Tomcatt68 Regarding your comment of Sonnega. Believe me I wish I could tell you that Sonnega will do the right thing but my own experience tells me otherwise. Before my brother died I believed and trusted that people do the right thing when faced with the facts. Sonnega didn't. All he did was push the issue to Barry Brown who is always hired by Sonnega to deal with issues he won't deal with. I have contacted the FBI and I am in constant contact with the United States Justice Department. Unfortunately this is not a quick process. I wish justice would have been served many months ago and accountablity enforced on the people who killed my brother then maybe this incident would have never happened. I thank GOD that these officers didn't kill this boy. Talking about doing something is a lot easier than actually doing something and getting somewhere. I have been vocal about my brother's death since it happened on August 30, 2008. Unfortunately no one wants to hear about a 24 year old man dying in jail. I honestly just don't know what it is going to take for our community to stand up for ourselves. I am a reasonable person and I understand that not everyone in our law enforcement community is bad but where are the good ones. Why aren't they speaking out? Something has to change. |
