PLEASE watch out for the children living in this area.Just think of all the werido's it would bring to our communty. This kind of "camp ground" needs to be in Bloomington not here.We believe are children should have a safe place to grow up.
You are a paranoid freak! This is America and people are free to do as they please on their own property. Bring on the gays!!

So Pink you do not think sex oddenders don't have money????Who will check Ids to see if someone is 21. I'm sure this commuity will not stand for a sex club here.

It really bothers me that people think they have the right to tell others what they should or should not do with their lives and what they can and cannot have on their own property.

It takes alot of time to tend to my backyard and I doubt that I would consider spending my precious time telling others how to live or what to do with their property.

Peace.

Pinky, I won't be trying it. I have my own path and beliefs. However, I also believe in "be, and let it be" and the right to free enterprise as well as property rights. As long as no laws are being broken, I have no right to dictate what can and can not take place on private property.

I agree Ed. I won't be going there but I won't condemn it either. What I don't like is the infringement on property rights. We're slowly losing all our freedoms in this country.

So long as they are not bothering others, then let it be.

Seriously... People are doing it near you, without knowing it. You could have a neighbor that's a swinger or gay and you don't realize it. They just live their lifestyle that way, doesn't make them bad people. If they want to set up a swingers/gay camp, let them. Mind your own business. It's not going to bother you, they're not going to force a gay orgy on you. Come on people, it's 2010. Excuses are made by the neighbors and people in the community, because that's not "their" beliefs. For people upset with this, you should come to realize, that everyone has their own beliefs. To each your own. Live by that, you can't tell people what they can and cannot do. They're not breaking the law by any means.

I agree with the logic of your post. As far as the 2010 part I do disagree with. We had more property rights in 1910 than we do now. Thats the biggest problem I see is we are going backwards over time and do not have the freedoms now that our ancestors had.

Lassiter, welcome to the world of popular will. More fines, more laws, and more infringements.

My favorite quote: Alan Nolan, Ice Miller

It seems to me that many of us today do not really comprehend what the personal liberty provisions of the Constitution are all about. In a given conflict between the popular will and the Constitution, many of us seem to miss the constitutional point and react instead on the basis of our response to the merits of the proposal of the popular will. But the point is that the Constitution is essentially a statement of limitations on the popular will and on the government as the agent of the popular will. The heart of any civil liberties case, therefore, concerns not whether the people approve of the act of government but a more fundamental question, should the government have this power? Inevitably, this question requires a consideration of whether or not the power at issue is subject to abuse.

Zoning laws are for local property owners protection and for appropriate activity for a given area. The homosexual perversion is a sexual addiction and as we have seen in the perfect example of social human study from the catholic church scandal. Approximately 85% of those sworn to celibacy who couldn't control their sexual urges were those who suffer from the sexual homosexual perversion. Even though they only average 2% of the general population. Humm....

That explains why unlike heterosexual( normal )we adjusted people they have to have sex anywhere they are at because they can't control themselves as proven by the catholic study case. Not to mention the sex rooms in any environment deemed ( GAY ).

Now it's not like they are the only ones with an illness but how would you like to have your child outside to play or riding their bike down that road when they pass.

People get so wrapped up in being PC and fashionably stupid they forget what the truth is and once again our public idiots put the children safety at risk.

Only homosexuals themselves or those who promote their fixation of children could support this.

If I were these neighbors I would be upset too. This is simply put a zoning issue to determine if a sex addict club is in the best interest of the community. I would say it most certainly is not.

Liberty, I cannot help but think that you have insulted me. “Only homosexuals themselves or those who promote their fixation of children could support this.”

With that being said. Paranoia will destroy ya.

Just because you do not support or condone homosexual activity or sexually free people does not give you the right to restrict the use of private property. I am pretty sure that I live relatively close to this campground and I have no fear of these people snatching up my kids or anyone else’s for that matter.

I guess the constitution is only applicable when you agree.

Peace.
