lynn said:I can't see any reason for a gay camp ground. As far as I know all campground in Indiana are open for all to enjoy. The truth this this camp is for nothing more then sex.If this camp is allowed to open. PLEASE watch out for the children living in this area.Just think of all the werido's it would bring to our communty. This kind of "camp ground" needs to be in Bloomington not here.We believe are children should have a safe place to grow up.
You are a paranoid freak! This is America and people are free to do as they please on their own property. Bring on the gays!!
So Pink you do not think sex oddenders don't have money????Who will check Ids to see if someone is 21. I'm sure this commuity will not stand for a sex club here.
Sex oddenders?? What are sex oddenders?? Sex club?? Where?? Is someone planning to open a sex club?? Wow! I thought all we were discussing was a campground.

Pinky!!It is a camp ground for open attitudes toward sexuality... That would be the place for SEX OFFENDERS !!! Please read the story again...

Hoosier,

I would never insult you personally. My statement was in general. Mental illness's that effect the general health of the sociality or little people is not protected by the Constitution nor was it ever meant to be.

I think you are a very intelligent person and if you would study the true numbers you would think different. Your first inclination is to help and protect. Thats what makes you you. But, you also are not to be fooled easily and my guess you won't be. I'll wait.

This is what happens when land is sold because of different reasons. Then we end up with undesirable people. Lot of us have always lived without close neighbors. If we wanted neighbors we would move to the city. People move in, trash their yard and their house and we have to look at it.They sell and someone else moves in. Now what do we have? A campground with swinger life style and the owners will be counting their money all the way to the bank. I have lived close to this road and know the Scherer family for more years than I want to say. He does not want this near his property and neither do any of the Green Twp. residents. One of the comments on this site that it would bring money into the county and the people would buy food. gas, etc. That won't happen. The only store we have near is just a little quick mart. They will be too busy to spend money on camp fire goodies. All Green Twp. residents should appear at the hearing if they do not want this to happen even if it does no good they will have tried.

downtown customer, I love your suggestion that if you, who live in Green Township, do not want this in your neighborhood attend the hearing. Good idea.

I live in Morgantown. I have heard of the community in Brown County, just outside of Morgantown that caters to homosexuals. It has never affected me one way or the other. I also know that there is a church, the Abundant Faith Fellowship church in Morgantown who believe in White Power. This church has also not affected me one way or the other. I, personally, do not believe in what either one of these organizations/groups support. However, I do support their right to do it.
