As a matter of fact, I did speak with Brian Culp (and, yes, he's a fine person) and, as I recall, it was Brian who gave me the number for the Counsel for the Press. I called to verify that, indeed, I had not violated the Open Door Policy and when it was verified, I was satisfied with that and saw no reason to have it reported on again. I made my statement to the news at the time and, as far as I was concerned, it was put to rest. You can rest assured, if there was fact for an investigation...there would have been one. Notice how he completely avoids that when talking about his fiscal management skills! Where were his fiscal management skills then when good fiscal skills and planning were needed?
