The California trip was paid for in part through grant their teacher received. The students raised a portion of the funds and their parents paid the rest. As for me, I paid 100% of my own way to help chaperone the group. Regarding storm water rates, these had to be raised because the storm water department was under-funded and Mooresville has many storm water related issues that need to be addressed. And yes, I did vote for this increase. Hope this helps!
