Day care owner regrets calling police
read more recent story comments Reader comments| Liberty Sunday, May 30, 2010: 1:31 am More from Liberty | I can respect her situation. The police obviously lied several times about the incident. The police say they have been call on this boy before. She says thats not true. Since Jennings perjured himself already on his police report ( Lied ) I have to believe the one who hasn't been caught in deception yet and I trust what this lady says. Not only was this poor child a special needs child he was also under medication which sounds like he could have been Bi-polar or have other problems like that. I know children with that kind pf disorder. The officers responsible must NEVER be able to be in a position of public trust again the rest of their life. They have used up the only shot one should ever have by using a potentially deadly weapon as a tool to reprimand special needs children. I don't promote violence but I could fully understand a father waiting to get one of those officers outside of his car and beating the pulp right out of them. If I was either one of them I would move. Their names are nothing but trash in this county. If it were I, moving and starting over somewhere for my family sake would make the best sense for all. Of course , by law , they should spend jail time for the crimes. With all the corruption in our local government that probably won't happen so the ride to the edge of town should be in order. We all have to accept responsibility for our mistakes in life. Just like all the people these two have locked up jail. Now it's their turn. Just my thoughts. . |
| drummer Sunday, May 30, 2010: 1:51 pm More from drummer | it's insane to let a child be allowed to be in the situation to do this much damage to a community. |
| Proud American Sunday, May 30, 2010: 8:46 pm More from Proud American | You know what "Liberty", I for one have grown completely tired of your "holier than thou" attitude and your biased and judgemental comments. You seem to have ALL the answers to ALL the problems. And, I'm thankful the kid was not YOUR child because he obviously would have been shipped off long ago for using up his "one and only shot" when he did anything wrong that did not meet your "standard of perfection". I mean, just who do you think you are? Have you not sinned? Have you not made some type mistakes in your own life? Who are you to judge people and suggest punishment when YOU do not possess all the facts or have a complete understanding of all the circumstances?? I mean, you have already concluded without a thorough investigation that "The police obviously lied several times about the incident" and "I trust what this lady says". Do you know her? Have you personally spoken to her regarding the situation? Have you conducted interviews with all the witnesses? Come on "Wise One", please enlighten us! You say you "don't condemn violence but I could fully understand a father waiting to get one of those officers outside of his car and beating the pulp right out of them." I am sure many people in the past have experienced those same feelings for you given your stunning self-rightous attitude. And as far as the officers moving, how about YOU moving? If all is SO BAD in this town, why do you stay? Or better yet, why don't you bless us all with your superior knowledge and vast understanding of interpersonel skills by serving as judge and jury on all cases before our court. Just think of all the taxpayer revenue that would be saved. I mean, we wouldn't need to hold trials because YOU already KNOW FOR A FACT who is guilty of a crime...AND what the punishment should be! The only ones needing a "ride to the edge of town" are you and your 20/20 hindsight brethern who love to second guess and sit in judgement of those who serve our communities and country. You do nothing more than belittle and insult our public servants. I for one am completely tired of people like you who hold others to standards that you yourself are unable to meet. One strike - no investigations - judgement handed down - move out of town.....wow, you must be a joy to live with. Just my thoughts. |
| Liberty Monday, May 31, 2010: 12:00 am More from Liberty | Hey Proud, If you don't like what I write then don't have to read it. Especially since it makes you so tired. I have two signed publicly available confessions of the two officers. One published testimony of the eye witness and the day care owner who called the police. Only once as said. Now thats all the investigators have also. Nobody is pleading innocent here. No guilt is asked to be proven. They are my employees and I can say that since the town has nothing to do but protect it's citizens from these confessed crimes. It's simple and know one has to make a judgement. Not me, not you, no one because they confessed they only need to remove them from their positions and replace them. Let the jury make their criminal judgements. If I was in their positions I would have quit immediately. That would have shown honor. I most certainly wouldn't want to escape what was dully coming to me. What kind of man would do that ? Now that's enough for one setting because your eyes look like they are getting heavy. :) . |
| Danny Stewart Monday, May 31, 2010: 6:50 pm More from Danny Stewart | WOW!!!!!! Hey Liberty, you tryin to beat my record on the negative ratings? I don't know if I can go for that. |
| Liberty Monday, May 31, 2010: 9:30 pm More from Liberty | Hey Danny, I can beat you any day of the week on the negative ratings. You don't even have a chance. I've cut through so much crap and gotten under the skin of so many all I have to do is post a blank post and it could draw at least a -5 or a -6. My smiley faces can draw a -3 The comment section is auto-regulated by ip address and time. So my guess is to have a lot of ratings from one handle stack up as fast as what you see here means somebody is using a proxy server to post like some NEA teachers do in order to ( get around school filters that block porn sites and facebook. ) see certain Internet sites without being traced. This can provide a different anonymous ip address each time the log on. It could also be an employee at the paper ( no names will be mentioned ) is popping on here again with new temporary handles to take pop shots at me. In any case we seem to have some who doesn't understand that a PUBLIC employee's boss is the PUBLIC. It is the duty of the PUBLIC to make known the pleasures and displeasures with the performance of a PUBLIC employee. Nobody makes someone apply for a job working for the PUBLIC but if one wishes to put there lives in the PUBLIC eye they must expect that those Proud Americans that perform their civic duty by keeping their awareness know, will be watching and evaluating them. I'm not condemning anyones soul as I'm a sinner and I have my own planks to deal with but in the American form of government we have a critical and necessary civic duty to keep those who we pay held accountable and any Proud American wouldn't shirk their duty by allowing a inferiority complex to stop them from serving their community by speaking up. Our good politicians want to know what we think. The fact that I can make people up-chuck and fall asleep makes me feel much more powerful than this small speck on earth really is. I just wonder why somebody with any scruples would ever give me that kind of power over them....Hummm Danny, what is your highest negative ? . |
| Danny Stewart Tuesday, June 1, 2010: 6:54 am More from Danny Stewart | I think my highest negative rating was -8. Oh well, you're probably right, but then again, you know how it is with those that have an inferiority complex. They think everyone is out to get them. Personally, I like making fun of those with the classic superiority complex the most. That's where the real power lies. |
| stingersbaby Tuesday, June 1, 2010: 7:28 am More from stingersbaby | I have to agree with Liberty that these officers should no longer be able to work for the public. Children are taught to trust police officers, and these two officers have violated that trust. However, Liberty, I think you should think twice about trusting the owner of the daycare. I took my children to her for a very short time several years ago. She is mean to the kids, especially ones that she just takes an immediate disliking to. I know that during the short time that my children were in her care, she kicked my older child in the head (more than once) because my child would not go to sleep during nap time (even though my child would lay there quietly....the fact that she couldn't force my child to actually go to sleep evidently was reason enough to warrant abuse), and she punched my other child, who was only 2 at the time, in the stomach. I also know from a very reliable source (I will not say how I know this person is reliable, to protect this person) that Heather hits any child who will not obey her, and if she takes an immediate disliking to a child, she makes their life generally miserable when they're in her care. I am hoping to get my reliable source to come forward and tell what they know, because if they do, you'd better believe that I will be right there with them, backing them up, and giving my own testimony in an effort to force Tender Teddies to go out of business because Heather is unfit to be caring for children. But without another source, I can't do anything, because all I have is the word of a child, who at the time was very young. The child in question in this situation sounds very much like my own child. My own child is on medication for ADHD with ODD and PTSD and Bipolar. I know from experience what these outbursts are like, and most of the time they can become very violent outbursts. However, the way these officers handled the situation was completely uncalled for. Heather calling the police was completely uncalled for. In my opinion, any daycare who is going to accept special needs children into their care should be forced to have special training for these types of children, and such training should be documented with some sort of certification. Proud American~~You just have a bad attitude. |
| Proud American Tuesday, June 1, 2010: 8:25 am More from Proud American | The ones with the real inferiority complex are those that are not confident enough in themselves to really appreciate the weaknesses and short comings we all possess. Instead of looking at others with a non-judgemental attitude until they obtain all the facts to make an intelligent and just decision, they instead chose to blame, criticize and place judgement on other's actions in order for them to artificially inflate themselves and feel they are of higher intellect and understanding than those they judge. And speaking of a "classic superiority complex", ironically it seems co-exist within these same people. They have all the answers before the questions are even asked! And Liberty, maybe you need to change your handle to "Liberal" since you find it impossible to believe that others would ever disagree with you on an issue so the popular opinion must be "fixed". And "stingersbaby"...well...if you believe my attitude is poor because I chose to give others the benefit of the doubt until proven guilty then so be it. I just hope others who share my attitude are around when you, me or someone else is the one who is the target of those that seek to condemn before all the facts are investigated. |
| Liberty Tuesday, June 1, 2010: 11:40 am More from Liberty | stingersbaby, I'm sorry your children were abused. I was only saying that she hasn't been caught lying yet like I have friends who struggle with these conditions with their children. Hang in their , they do grow up and from what I've seen, live a normal life. I have a very close friend who was diagnosed with Bipolar at 14 and today has 6 children and is one of the best in his profession around. One of his little boy's was diagnosed with the same at 7 years old. Their biggest issue to deal with isn't getting the medication balanced but is dealing with the local GEC who refused to deal with the special needs his son has even though by law they are required. Well, I think you probably know what my advise was to him. God give us all we need to make it through if we are only willing to accept Him. These young people who have all these additional challenges , along with their loving parents need to be protected from the government employee's who have been some fictitious power over our young and helpless. Not the other way around like some on here would have it. Here's a game for the week, let's start a list of what has been perpetrated against children by our government and adults who are protected by the government. Proud American, Proud American said: One strike - no investigations - judgement handed down - move out of town.....wow, That is the definition of the " 0 tolerance policy " and that the government enforces on the children in the community who are sentenced to the government schools. But what you promote is if the government adult employee's abuses one of these little ones ( rather it's with a taser, teaching them to cheat or do drugs or providing a strange adult to teach them to have sex at 11) you want more than just signed confessions and Eye witness, or a pass on a " 0 tolerance policy " policy you also require a criminal investigation just to fire them ? You mean they have to commit a crime to fire them ? The child get's fired from the government ed compound without a any consideration but the adult government employee can't be fired unless he is convicted of a crime ? That's what the union has done to you teach. They have taught you to put yourself ahead of those you work for and that's precisely what this is all about. Now look, you can come after me personally all you want, you can call me names and sit up all night logging on just to deceitfully increase a childish negative rating my comments like young people who still require others approval do, but it won't be until you grow-up and stop being so proud of yourself for "waiting for an criminal investigation is over" and taking the well being of this community more serious than the job of your fellow union members, till these daily articles articles of government employee failures go away. That's not my record run-on sentence but it's close. I have nothing against these officers personally because I don't know them personally. My discernment is made as an employer based on job performances and the ability to be trusted with weapons and the decision to use weapons in the public arena. Also the missing fasial slap ( or punch )from Jennings report but confirmed by Johnson's tells this employer that I won't be able to take his word in the future. We as a county are finacially liable for the actions of our employees and we have to be able to trust those in our employ with them. New jobs are in order for these guys and it's no bodys fault but their own. We are not in the business of providing permanent jobs but rather to provide services to our community. It's not the end of things for them but rather a new beginnig of their future. That's all. This may be another example of the disstruction of a union on our community. The following is reposted: In any case we seem to have some who doesn't understand that a PUBLIC employee's boss is the PUBLIC. It is the duty of the PUBLIC to make known the pleasures and displeasures with the performance of a PUBLIC employee. I hold no ill against you. I can see you're very pasionate about this. Please don't worry, nobody really cares what I write about anyway. You really are giving way to much value and power on my words. :) . . |
| A Hoosier Tuesday, June 1, 2010: 12:09 pm More from A Hoosier | Liberty, making friends? I am starting to think that Bill Jennings may have his retirement coming up REAL soon. So, to let him retire with dignity instead of finding him guilty of child abuse may be the way out for the mayor. Keep up the good work, Liberty. You are really the one person who makes this blog any fun. Hope you had a great weekend. Peace. |
| Liberty Tuesday, June 1, 2010: 2:07 pm More from Liberty | Hey Danny I'm at negative twelve now and climbing !! It may be for not proof reading my post and leaving chopped up and messed up sentences. And sometimes no sentences at all but rather paragraphs. But for what ever reason it's making me the highest rated ( negative but so what ) of ALL TIMES..... |
