Holy cow! Has Meadow Lakes reported this crime to the Indiana State Department of Health as an unusual occurrence, which is required by law? Were patient’s families notified of this intruder? Was there any kind of sexual misconduct? Why was this man not stopped in the facility to ask his purpose?

This story makes my mind go around, and around and around. So many opportunities for abuse.

Cuda, I managed nursing homes for 6 years. All sorts of abuses occur to these vulnerable people. Some residents walk out the door and freeze to death, some are sexually assaulted, and some are beaten and robbed. Any injustice that can be found in our society has probably happened to a nursing home resident.

This man was missing for 9 hours. Are you willing to vouch for his whereabouts?

Nursing home resident froze to death. Read more.

Nursing home resident raped. Read more.

Nursing home resident kidnapped. Read more.

I can provide you example after example of the crimes committed against nursing home patients. You seem to think this impractical and ridiculous.

I have great passion for the care of seniors. I would demand a complete investigation and all residents interviewed to find the extent of this man's intrusion.
