Amen Cuda! I hope the people of Martinsville take the high road and pass up the temptation to poke fun at their expense. This family is awesome and has enough on it's plate right now. Teenagers make mistakes...

I applaud Sonnega for making this move. It's not easy being a prosecutor and even harder being a good parent.

He's a kid. No matter how you raise them, they make mistakes like this. Not your fault, Prosecutor.

My prayers are with this family!! As hard as it is to understand, kids do make mistakes. And I'm so glad to see that people are not casting stones. This could happen to any of us!

Now, no matter what the mullah teaches, there is only one sin, only one. And that is theft. Every other sin is a variation of theft…When you kill a man, you steal a life, you steal his wife’s right to a husband, rob his children of a father. When you tell a lie, you steal someone’s right to the truth. When you cheat, you steal the right to fairness…There is no act more wretched than stealing. A man who takes what’s not his to take, be it a life or a loaf of naan…I spit on such a man.

Thou shalt have no other gods before thee (before God the Father, or, as a stumbling block before you).
Thou shalt not make unto thee any graven image.
Thou shalt not take the name of the Lord thy God in vain.
Remember the Sabbath Day to keep it holy.
Honour thy father and thy mother.
Thou shalt not kill.
Thou shalt not commit adultery.
Thou shall not steal.
Thou shalt not bear false witness against thy neighbour.
Thou shalt not covet any thing that [is] thy neighbour's.

Now tell us that you have never sinned. Especially as an 18 yr old.

In fact, I think you might have sinned again by being so judgemental.

Someone want to throw out a Bible verse about that?

Hoosier,

I know you are perfect, but could you please make your servants happy? Move far far away, and never access the comments board again. Please master, please. Do the world a favor, and make your peasants happy!

But we all know the atheist’s three favorite verses in the Bible: “Judge not lest you be judged” (Matthew 7:1), “He who is without sin cast the first stone” (John 8:7), and “God is love” (1 John 4:8). Why are these his favorites? Because they allow the atheist to escape accountability to God. He is guilty before God and doesn’t like to hear about it – just like the thief would like people to stop judging him and saying that stealing is wrong, especially the cops, judges, and lawmakers (until he becomes the victim of theft).
