Are you serious?

Now, I know no one is smart enough to realize what it means--so I know they did not due it with bad intentions--but "Land of Opportunity" isn't just a cliche. It has, for generations, been a term reserved for or associated with the USA.

And to title an article on a repressive, communist country as "Land of Opportunity" is not only incorrect but also offensive.

Everyone knows that China holds the USA's banknote and that they could pull the rug right out from under us at any moment. So they are going to �invest� in Indiana, when they already �own� the rest of the country?

On a second note, everyone also knows that I-69 will eliminate 2,800 acres of prime Indiana farmland. So this statement �We have a surplus in Indiana, especially in foodstuffs, and they�re going to need them,� Haymaker said. �As we can become mutually reliant, then we�ll have a buy-in toward a friendly relationship. That�s not only good for Indiana but good for the world as well.� is less than brilliant. You know, the left has no clue what the right is doing (and vise-versa)

Reporter-Times please do a story on this. I don't understand why Channel 6 gets stuff like this and the toe licking incident but the local paper doesn't. Does the paper not want to cover these things or is it because the citizens aren't contacting the paper with these news tips? Mr. Culp?

Thanks for the reply, Brian. I look forward to reading the upcoming story and hope you all can sort out the truth. It will be interesting to see how residents/voters respond to this at the polls in November. It will also be interesting to see how this affects the annual emergency loans for the township fire department. This should provide plenty of material for several articles in the coming months.
