Ummm, excuse me but I see an old deteriorated, unsafe, shanty that needs to be "mowed" as well. It's abandoned, it's been abandoned for years and there is no good reason why it should not be condemned, torn down and hauled off. Grow a pair, County and get rid of it. When you allow crap like this to exist, people get a clear picture of your "vision" for our community...which in turn makes it difficult to take anything you do seriously.

This has really put me in the mood to mow grass today. Thanks RT.

Just one more thing. I cut mine at 3.5 inches for plushness and drought resistance. What if someone likes extra plushness and wants to be prepared for a bad drought ? Will Barney Hale get his binoculars out and eventually cut, bale and auction it off ? Humm....

Since Andy is gone I better keep mine at 3.5

I think this shows the bubbling foolishness of our local government (all Republicans) here. They are trying to enforce ordinances on people and don't even abide by their own terms. It's really simple: Mow your property. If you don't, fine them $500 a pop. That should get their attention. Too many property owners doing this crap around this community and making the county look shabby and lowering property values.

I smell horse crap. If you don't like the way a place looks, just say so. Claiming its about rodents and such is insulting my intelligence. We live in a rural county covered with native hardwood forest, hayfields, corn and bean fields. If your home is more inviting to a rodent than the woods or beanfield behind it, I would suggest that you have bigger issues than your neighbors lawn.

Did Kenny Hale truly say that this property owner has a local caretaker? Would someone define caretaker for me? I'm confused...
