I can't count how many times I have witnessed people running red light whether they're in a car, truck, or semi. Too many people have died here during the 20 plus years I've lived in this community. |

Although, I do agree that the main reason for all accidents is people simply not paying attention. It is amazing to actually watch people as they're driving and observing all of the distracting things they do. I saw a young mother on Wednesday, dropping her children off at South Elementary school in the morning. Coffee cup in one hand and a cell phone in the other as she was trying to turn left with traffic coming from both directions. I'm not exactly sure how she was steering. People are idiots behind the wheels of their vehicles and innocent people pay the price. |
