You've got to be kidding. First of all, Seib's first name is Jay.

Second, he's not even the cross country coach; he's the track coach.

Melody Smith Groothuis is the women's coach...has been for five years. She's had a state meet qualifier; her team appears to have the potential to be headed to state; they're also the defending county champions. Also, she's the only three-time All State runner in school history, and she was an Indiana All-Star. Graduated from Columbia (as in the Ivy League). (Hmmm...Where'd Page get his degree from? What about the amazing Keith Rhoades? Or Boss Ross?)

Still, I guess the fact that she's been around for so long and been so sucessful really shouldn't count for much. It's obvious you're not going to get anything right about her.

Or anybody, for that matter, that is associated with a "non-revenue" sport.

Certainly, it's not as if you clowns would refer to Kutruff as Tim Wolf? Oh, wait, I guess you might.

The middle school newspaper staff could do a better job.

Congratulations to Jace and all the kids! Your training is paying off. And to the coaching staff and parents who successfully pull this off every year. Next year, everyone needs to just drive by the high school on the Saturday morning before the races start, just to see all the colorful tents each school represented has set up!
