| Liberty Wednesday, September 15, 2010: 1:08 pm More from Liberty | LET'S GET THIS STRAIGHT. THE REPORTER TIME SELLS SUBSCRIPTIONS AND REPRESENTS ITSELF AS A NEWSPAPER AND A MEMBER OF THE PRESS WHO HAS A DUTY TO KEEP THE CITIZENS INFORMED OF DANGER AND AMONG OTHER THING LIKE BEING A GOVERNMENT WATCH DOG. IT HAS BEEN ONE WEEK AND STILL CAN'T EVEN PERFORM IT'S SIMPLEST TASK OF ANY OF THEIR RESPONSIBILITY BY PROVIDING THE PUBLIC, THEY SERVE, WITH EVEN THE MOST BASIC INFORMATION TO KEEP THEIR FAMILY'S SAFE. THIS IS UN-ACCEPTABLE. FOR ANY FAMILY LIKE MIND WHO STANDS ENDANGERED AND AFTER 168 HOURS REFUSES TO PRINT THE MOST EASIEST AND BASIC NEEDED INFORMATION IS WHAT CAN ONLY BE TERMED MALICIOUS. BY PRINTING A REPORTER'S PIECE OF THIS NATURE ONLY MAKE THAT REPORTER LOOK BAD INCOMPETENT AND WILL FOLLOW THEIR CARRIER. IF A REPORTER BROUGHT SOMETHING LIKE THIS TO A REAL NEWSPAPER EDITOR THEY WOULD BE FIRED. THIS IS PUBLIC INFORMATION EASILY ASSESSABLE BY A NEWSPAPER. I SUGGEST EVERYONE STARTS COPYING AND PASTING THIS ARTICLE TO AN EMAIL WITH THEIR CONCERNS TO THE PUBLISHER E. Mayer Maloney Jr., AT mmaloney@hoosiertimes.com THEN PICK UP THE PHONE AND CALL (812) 331-4251 AND ASK WHY THE REPORTER-TIMES REFUSES TO INFORM US OF A FUGITIVE FELON ESCAPEE'S IDENTITY SO WE CAN PROTECT OUR FAMILY'S. LET HIM MR MALONEY KNOW THIS IS THE SECOND TIME AND IT'S BEEN OVER A WEEK NOW. NAME THE REPORTERS AND THE EDITORS NAMES. IF THIS POST GETS REMOVED TELL HIM OF THAT ALSO. ASK HIM WHAT THE EDITOR JOB IS. THIS ISN'T A GAME OR A HIGH-SCHOOL PAPER REPORTER TIMES. THIS IS PEOPLES LIVES. |

Hey Reporter Times, This has just happened at a local housing addition. Care to share with us yet ? This occurred: 1. During the middle of the day (1pm) 2. The resident was home at the time and confronted the intruder 3. The intruder entered through an unlocked door |
| Redrum Wednesday, September 15, 2010: 5:33 pm More from Redrum | Are we sure Keith Rhoades didn't write this? It's about as worthless as the stuff he contributes to the paper. |
| Ratcatcher Wednesday, September 15, 2010: 10:20 pm More from Ratcatcher | The story says that the security officer at the hospital declined to release the prisoner's name. So how can the reporter be expected to put that info in the paper if the reporter was never given the info in the first place? I bash the paper as much as the next guy when I think they deserve it but I don't think this is one of those times. Am I missing something? |
| ForthecitizensofWT Thursday, September 16, 2010: 3:44 am More from ForthecitizensofWT | The whole point is if you dont have information like the discription or name dont waste your time or ink and publish it. Its all about filling in spaces that they cant fill in. Do they ever follow up on actual big stories? No! Just like the amish boy who got lifelined the other day after a logging accident. Is he still alive? What condition is he in? Is he improving? No updates on more important things like always. Who cares the escaped inmate is prolly in Mexico or something by now! |
| Liberty Thursday, September 16, 2010: 8:58 am More from Liberty | Hey Ratcatcher, You're not missing anything but the paper may be. Like a simple police scanner with a recorder on it. Someone that can call the police and ask or walk into the station and ask. This was broadcast on mooresville, martinsville, county and Indianapolis and eventually on the state frequencies. Also a good reporter has relationships with some police officier who will give them information. That's why I'm perplexed. Stay safe and lock your doors :) Humm... Get a watch dog or .....watch bees ? |
| Ratcatcher Thursday, September 16, 2010: 11:34 am More from Ratcatcher | Ok. I get it now. Why did they bother printing the story if they didn't have the guy's name and it's been a week now they should've been able to find it out by now. Makes sense. Sorry, I didn't have my caffeine yesterday. Guard bees, huh. That has already been tried before. I once heard a story about some pot growers that surrounded their field with beehives. They still got busted by the cops although, come to think of it, nobody else ever stole their plants. I just have to worry about the Mooresville street department killing the bees. Nah. I think I'll just make sure my gun is clean and I have plenty of ammo. |
| Liberty Thursday, September 16, 2010: 2:11 pm More from Liberty | Can you get some honey from that guy's hives ? Just joking.....:) |
| Liberty Thursday, September 16, 2010: 2:23 pm More from Liberty | You owe me. call it "Indiana Gold" honey. The good stuff. |
