Report This Comment		If the Hamilton county cop has no credibility then Hollis should never have plead guilty and agreed to pay for the $200+ sunglasses he broke in the struggle.I wouldn't have ! And with the recent events in Indy ,(BISARD CRASH), now is not the time to overlook arrogant ,drunk cops who think that they are above the law.Someone's life may depend on the example made in Hollis's case with his employment.

Report This Comment		Had Mr Hollis not had the confrontation at Verizon...he would have gotten in his car and drove home drunk...but that's okay...he's a cop and they are above the law (so they think)...absolutely terminate him...

Report This Comment		Good point adept. That is something I hadn't even considered but absolutely that is what he would have done. Why do most cops think they are above the law and they don't have to follow the same rules as the average Joe? They wonder why citizens don't respect them anymore. Go figure.

Would it have mattered or even made news if Mr Hollis wasnt a Police Officer? I dont think so. If a guy wants to drink off duty and at a concert so be it he is human like anyone else and has that right! Its his choice. He wasnt in his police car and for your info they were tailgating and going to stay there for the night. AKA not DRIVE! Liberty I apologize

Report This Comment		You can make all the excuses you want for Mr Hollis's stupid actions...first stupid action was taking the woman into a men's restroom because the line is to long...that is just ignorant...must be because he's a cop and can do as he pleases...as he is quoted as saying "There's no need to worry about it."...so take note men we can go into womens restrooms...and when the cops arrive be sure to tell them not to worry about it...second stupid action is he grabbed a cops arm interfering with a uniformed officer...the one rule a fellow officer should know better than to ever do...and he didn't stop he continued...so he has no respect for the law that he swore to uphold...why would we need him on our police department....wait he does fit in with the taser, child slapping, gas stealing, officers that come from here...and lets not forget the drunk school superintendent...

You obviously do NOT have a clue how the justice system works! Officer Hollis absolutely does not think he is above the law. Again you were not there nor do you know the facts which have been completely ommitted from the "distorter-times".

You are completely uninformed and making an absolute fool of yourself! Officer Hollis had paid for a campsite for the night. He walked to the concert and had no intention of driving home. By the way, he was not in his commission.

Im sorry Adolf I mean adept but if someone grabbed and yanked my g/f or wives arm I would probably have done the same thing and I do have respect for the police but one thing I was always told is you never lay a hand on a woman! Did you know the officer yanked Mr Hollis g/f arm so hard it left bruising??? Bet you didnt know that did ya. GET YOUR FACTS BEFORE YOU OPEN YOUR MOUTH! The Mayor will be crazy if he doesnt bring Officer Hollis back! Actually Officer Hollis would probably be better off to get on another department because of the scum lifes who dont know the facts and want to Judge!!

please present the facts about the arresting officer(s),( eight I believe were involved). I know a couple of Hamilton County LEO and they work the Verizon for extra income not as punishment for lackluster performance on the street. Just like our City and County LEO's work ballgames, security, special events.
Not bashing you...just asking for the proof you claim about the arresting officer(s).
If you have none, then I'd be careful friend. One's reputation is all that one has that truly belongs to ones self. Defaming it is quite actionable.

It wasn't "someone" it was the police in uniform...where is your respect for the police since you would do the same as Mr. Hollis than you should end up in jail just like him....I'm sure if Mr Hollis was the officer in uniform dealing with a drunk woman he would have grabbed her also...the officer was detaining her...and being drunk I bet she wasn't being cooperative...so in your idiotic thinking all cops have no right to "lay" a hand on a woman to arrest her...do you ask them to put the handcuffs on themselves...be sure not to make them to tight it might bruise...I'm sure in Mr. Hollis career he has had to "manhandle" a few women himself while wearing his uniform...The fact remains Mr. Hollis committed a crime...and like every other criminal...they cry their innocent...or have their buddies like you do it...
