First Amendment right should be protected

Free speech has limits. I think there should be a law requiring that all protesting of funerals should be 1,000 yards from the funeral. It is hard to believe that there is a need for such a law, but these idiots from Kansas apparently don't have the decency to let a family grieve in peace. There are plenty of examples where protesters have been either arrested or subdued for protesting political leaders-"Don't tase me, bro!" or even more recently where that lady was totally tackled for daring to speak out in John McCain's presence. If any Americans rights trump the right to free speech and freedom of assembly, it is definitely families of recently deceased servicemen wanting nothing more than to bury their sons and daughters with a respectful funeral without idiots heckling them. |

Lassiter, LOL.... how great is that! Truth be known....I knew something was up. They said they were just 'playing around' but for several weeks I would stand outside their room and listen. I could hear what I thought was more monkeys and every once in a while I would hear one say.. " welcome to Dell service center"......and they would just bust up laughing. Believe me the monkeys are watching these politicians closely......monkey poo may fly again.....soon |

| Tomcatt68 Monday, October 11, 2010: 11:29 am More from Tomcatt68 | Everyone is getting all upset this paper "The Crusader" being placed on their property and saying that the police should site them for littering. Now because of all the complaining you have the press showing Martinsville on the six o'clock news. One, you are giving these people what they want, Attention. Just pick the paper up and place it in the trash. If we are going to make it a crime or complain because someone leaves a publication on your porch, drive, or door lets not forget the Jehovah's Witnesses Watchtower. I have those left at my door and I don't ask for them or even agree with them. From now on, should I call the police and complain? |
