Boles, Sams and Newman!! If you cared about your town and Police Department you wouldnt even be discussing this matter!! But what do you expect. They hired Carlye multiple times and they are as crooked as he is! I ask the town of Brooklyn to vote these goobers out if you dont wanna be the armpit of Morgan County and to show up with all your bells and whistles on Oct 15th to support the best Chief Brooklyn has had in its history of BPD! |
| STANDING BYE Saturday, October 9, 2010: 1:37 pm More from STANDING BYE | REMIND me not to attend FRANK SAMS church in Brooklyn....and he is suppose to be a man of God and a minister! SHAME SHAME SHAME!no wonder that church is dying with him in there and then living another way during the week.Chris Hester is a fine young man-have known him since he was in grade school in Martinsville. |
| Planter Saturday, October 9, 2010: 2:38 pm More from Planter | Brooklyn residents! Your vote has never been more important. Please voice your opinion. |

| ForthecitizensofWT Thursday, October 14, 2010: 12:27 pm More from ForthecitizensofWT | Since the day that Christopher C. Hester took over as Marshal of the Brooklyn Police Department, he has made numerous improvements. The entire atmosphere of the department and town has been one of peace and honesty. Marshal Hester has gained the trust of town citizens and surrounding local and county police departments alike. In the past few months the Police Department has been transformed inside and out. The building has been painted; flowers planted, pictures hung, and give off a general sense of welcome. The Officers that have been hired under Marshal Hester are kind, honest, professional, and care about what is right and good for the citizens. At this time the town council is attempting to remove the Marshal behind closed doors, without cause. Many believe that this may be racially motivated. With all of the bad press that this town and police department across the state have had recently, please show your support for a honorable Police Officer and his department. We will be protesting at the Brooklyn Kids Park Located in Brooklyn Indiana in support of the Police Department. Please arrive at 10:30 am for the peaceful assembly. Please wear a predominantly white shirt. We are plain on whiting out the wrong that is being done in this small town. Please invite your friends to join... |
| Liberty Thursday, October 14, 2010: 1:12 pm More from Liberty | ForthecitizensofWT, I admire you're efforts. This is a Good and noble thing you're doing. |
| Ratcatcher Thursday, October 14, 2010: 9:32 pm More from Ratcatcher | Since Hester has been the marshal I have never feared for one of my female relatives driving through Brooklyn. Unlike when Carlyle was there and they always carried tape records on the front seat. The Carlyle cancer was cured when Hester took over and the town was beginning to heal. Now the board is going to bring in another "disease"?!?! How dumb can they be?! |
