I was there and the turnout was great! Chris was very happy to see who not only everyone who cares about him but also the town and police department. Everyone needs to show up Oct 21 at 7pm for the meeting and hopefully voice our opinions!!

Thanks to all who attended. Sams is a disgrace to the church he claims to represent. If any members of the Nazarene faith observe this unfit minister, I hope they will complain to their leaders. Sams wants Carlyle back in power so he (Sams) can get a reserve badge, uniform and a car so he can drive to Mooresville and get a discounted meal. Sams owns no property, has no job, other than the church, and is a most disagreable person. He has attended less than half the Council meetings since January, 2009, but still collects a check. What a guy (not).

I grew up in brooklyn and some things never change. I think its time for the old pal club to retire and time for the new generation to get a say. How many cops have we gone thru? alot. The sad thing is it's just a few people who make all the problems, it's kinda like the old saying that the only people who don't think they are crazy are crazy, same way here the people who think there crap doesn't stink, well it does and they are always tring to make trouble. The people of Brooklyn that are unhappy with the current administration have a decision in the next election. You have to 1. find candidates to run for Council seats, then 2. show up at the polls to vote for those candidates.
It is all too often that voters in Morgan County yell about change, then at election time do not vote the change they would like to see.
