If you can't effectively prosecute your criminals, what is the point of having an officer at all? Does this story not scream of bribery and intimidation? If Carlyle is anywhere close to as crooked as many claim, who is going to care or investigate if/when he is shot or assaulted in the line of duty? Is Brooklyn Town Council so corrupt and/or stupid that they cannot see the danger in which they have placed themselves, the Town of Brooklyn, it's residents, and even officer Carlyle? This isn't rocket science. |
