Mr. Newman - Kudos to you, sir, for coming forward and talking to the paper. That being said I believe that if you are making bad decisions that go against what you know is right because of "pressure" from other politicians and not representing your constituents then it is time you resign. Of course you should stay on long enough to help fix the mess you created. Good luck to you.

In response to my last post I hadn't had my morning coffee yet. I guess it would be kinda silly to resign after tonight's emergency meeting and revote when he only has another 12 days to serve.

In the penal institution they would refer to what Mr Newman was is afraid of as " Prison Justus" except in prison they don't have loaded shot guns for protection. I bet the poor folks who have had their houses up for sale for a long time considers it a prison.

For Newman to be that afraid, imagine that town has had just enough and the towns people are walking around at night with touches and pitchforks. I agree the town should be dissolved and turned over to the county.

If Mr. Newman is that afraid of his job for the town he needs to get off and let someone else do it. You can't be afraid of what the citizens think when you make a vote for some issue. i don't think your special meeting was held legal you are to put it in the paper before I think it mite be 48 hours. I think you people up there just like to keep getting your name in the papers.
