| Bubba Friday, January 21, 2011: 6:19 pm More from Bubba | Next they will say "The football team will have a better record" Ha...looks like we are trying to keep up with Carmel. We never needed this when I played HS sports. Did fine without it......... |
| Bubba Friday, January 21, 2011: 6:22 pm More from Bubba | Oh, and don't drag Sarah Palin into this. She has nothing to do with it. She gets enough blame. If she is a non factor in Politics then why are people on the Left trashing her? Because they are AFRAID of her and her following. You know, good morals, family togetherness and conservative thoughts. |
| Cerberus Friday, January 21, 2011: 7:24 pm More from Cerberus | @Kaytey3 It looks like them seem to fall on the 3rd Thursday of the month, but there are several instances where have fallen on other days with start times other than 7:00 PM. I would call them to be certain. http://msdadmin.scican.net/minutes |

To first answer your question, of course I wouldn't want taxpayers ( mostly the elderly on fixed incomes) to pay ~ $1,000,000.00 for the pleasure of someone else's children playing child games, "homeschooled" or not. What kind of person would want that ? You surely don't want that do you ? MC, not sure how to take your tone of type. I wasn't the one that felt like I had to step up and insult someone today. Was I ? No, that would be someone else we know. I "KNOW SQUAT ABOUT YOUR FEELINGS OR YOU" because you told me and everyone else about them and illustrated them to the community. If you didn't want me to know you wouldn't have shown me. I can take your insults because I don't hold peoples emotions against them when they try to recruit others for support of their position when they aren't confident of it. It's human. When people start calling names and insulting or slandering it's simply an act of capitulation on an issue they may felt strong about. I'm not the one who supports those ( NEA GEC TEACHERS) who pay for the campaigning to kill baby's, teach grade school children they have the right to kill babies, teach children to have sex with each other and themselves, promote homosexuality in the schools, I could go on and on. So, it really confuses me when you choose to , out of the blue attack and insult my efforts to promote the opposite and stop their efforts. I don't think you are like that and may be just caught up in a group that conflicts with that and want to maintain popularity among them. I can understand that need. I think we may agree on many issues and have no real reason to be at personal odds with each other. I have no ill feeling toward you and wish to be on a friendly level with you. My focus, like some others on here, is on Christ Kingdom and exposing satans deceit that has so chained up a this culture, who may be, living in his illusions and whose goal is to prevent people, especially little ones from coming to Jesus. So when I campaign, or as other have mentioned holding up signs, don't always think they are for or about you. Just as you don't speak for others but only speak for yourself, what others say isn't about you. It's one thing for you not to want the same things but whose betting are you doing to stand in my way. We should be on the same side and deep down inside we may be. Peace out :) |

Maybe not all signs are directed towards you and maybe others are. We should just pass over the ones that don't apply. Since none of us can speak for others maybe we shouldn't assume others are always speaking to us. Peace :) |

Reality, if she was homeschooled by me she definitely wouldn't be in politics. Hey, how did you know about my Brylcreem use ? :) |

| dramaintheville Friday, January 21, 2011: 9:29 pm More from dramaintheville | hmmm as I read this looks like some people on here need to get a job or a hobby that's better than having something to say about everything that goes on in the paper and as far as tax payers getting a say in the way our tax dollars are spent well they let us say what we have to say about it but that's as far as it gets if you really think they listen to you as a tax payer in America on how to spend the money we pay in well wake up smell the coffee they don't if the government did care about it we would see change but they could care less so why waste your breath bitching about how they spend our money we pay in for taxes when it does no good |

I believe you suffer from the same sickness that plagues many of people in Martinsville. Thomas Jefferson answered your question Centuries ago! “If once the people become inattentive to the public affairs, you and I, and Congress and Assemblies, Judges and Governors, shall all become wolves. It seems to be the law of our general nature, in spite of individual exceptions.” |
