"The family is also asking for a change of venue. They allege they cannot get a fair jury trial because most of the potential jurors have attended either a Martinsville school."
It's common for both current and past students to blindly support their school regardless of any abuse they may receive. The something happens in all forms of child abuse. Children will still come back to their family. One of the reasons for the sports distraction, rah, rah, rah we're better than you, be true to your school, they can do anything they want to me and I don't care, etc,etc is to build that submissive loyalty that's has been a major part of the governments education system for over a century now and mimicked by most private and religious schools for competitive reasons.
As we can see here just like the Monrovia masturbation class , hidden by the name"CPR", lawsuit that resulted in the sexual assaults on other middle school girls, the teachers condone unruliness of the students. This is what they call socialization of your child. Even the admins in Monrovia basically looked the other way as "boys will be boys".

In that article about the sexual assaults on young girls it said" The suit goes on to say the school system did not notify parents of the incidents at the school." Hummmm... So much for the parental comment :"As far as I know none of my kids' teachers advocate drug use and encourage sex. I think I would hear about that and act accordingly." I use this and every parent of a child who has been sexually molested understand exactly what and why I point these things out.
A parents main job is to develop their child into self supporting adults ready to leave the nest and coexist in an adult world. When they send them to schools like this to learn socialization skills from children they only get children as a result not ready to leave the nest. In fact what they have they created a who undergrowth of parents who play games and aren't even responsible to provide health insurance for their own children but will provide themselves all the selfish wants like cigarettes, booze, big screen cable TV, high-speed Internet, season ticket, golf, Iphones etc, and expect someone else to support and train their children just like their mommy and daddy did them. Some tag these GEC socialized parents " play-station parents". It's been great for the GEC system and the NEA teachers who developed them and now profit from them. They use them as a scape goats for all their failings as a viable education source. Blame the parents. This system flaw of creating "child socialized " parents also has created a whole nation of parent who is still dependent on others to raise their own children. If you dare try to take away their welfare education system they will scream and bite because they haven't been properly prepared as adults or parents who can develop their own child into self supporting adults ready to leave the nest and coexist in an adult world.
It's ashame this serious problem is only exposed to the public through the legal system in law suits like this and Monrovia's but as long as the system keeps turning out dependent "play-station parents" who will protect the system they so depend on, nothing will change. To them it's just a free ride...
Just as there are good non-NEA teachers there also are good parents who are being deceived and put their faith in something because it's what everyone else does. I've been there. I've been a parent and worked with young people. I watched young people being told to believe just one thing and that's the teachers opinion on a subject, I watched as the young people talked of how one of their tenured teachers in high-school smoked pot and advocated it to his class, I watched as young peoples feeling and self-confidence were damaged by hurtful mean spiteful comments made to them about their intelligence in front of the class, I watched the use of humiliation as a punishment is common place in schools and one of the big reasons children come out without the confidence to be adults. We have seen the typical way a NEA teacher handles someone when challenged here on this blog . I can go back and copy and paste a books worth of vile mean name-calling and even typed cussing. Folks, if that emotion is so uncontrollable that the teacher will actually type it out then you can just imagine what the children get.
I remember one teacher make fun of a young mans -adams apple- in front of a class. This type of emotional molestation no more builds a healthy well adjusted adult life than sexual education molestation can build a well adjusted sexual adult health. It also doesn't create a healthy environment for learning but produces a negative rebellious drug using teenager self medicating for a problem that is the GEC schools itself. The young people I worked with, being homeschooled, didn't seem to have the lack of self-confidence and security issues like the others who suffered through the government system. They also were able to socialize with adults and carry on meaningful conversations about the issues of the day that the other young people couldn't. I know there can be parents who have problems just like there are NEA teachers who have problems but for each bad parent that effects just one or two children, each bad NEA teacher effects tens of thousands in their carrier. Sit and Simmer on that for a minute.........
So, that's what set me off on a mission to study and understand the problems and answers of a system that is so embedded in our national society and like any other welfare addiction is hard to dislodge. Once addicted to the dependency they own you and control you. Just as financial welfare strips ones confidence to support themselves, educational welfare strips a parents confidence to teach their own children.
I hope this girls hip will be ok and I also hope the exposure will provide a climate of understanding that's needed for "Real Educational Welfare Reform" by "Putting Parents Back to Work"
