A letter from a friend is all you need? Martinsville is a little pond with a lot of failures that like to play the big fish.
Like I said before, how many failed businesses have the Spina boys had over the years? Now the youngest wants to run a city government?
Thank God I moved away, but hey this paper and town provide my friends and I with a lot of entertainment! From cops that taser young kids, to superintendents that drink and drive, to fights at funeral homes, to cops that get arrested at concerts, to a note from a friend saying you can run for mayor.

It is funny that even though the fish are many in a pond of failures, residents are still putting them office and letting them run the pond. Kind of makes me wonder why the people are complaining, but doing nothing to make it better. We can complain all day about what they are doing, but until a change is made of who we vote into office, the complaints fall on deaf ears.

LilaMae, Danny Stewart is one of us and not a politician. He has fresh good ideas. He has a good character and has been volunteering for the community for ages. Politics is no longer my worry but just pointing out to you that you do have a choice. If he's going to get elected in the primary he's going to need people like you to pass the word about him around. He's the real thing. Call Danny and ask him what you can do to help. I'm sure he would appreciate it.

We had a couple far out there County Commissioners a few years back, and their 18th century mentalities nearly put a stop to progress in the county. I believe in citizen government, but the job of Mayor calls for someone with administrative and management skills. Make sure you know the qualifications of the person for whom you plan to cast your vote.

Liberty - I know Danny Stewart. That's all I can say about that.
