Laurel & Hardy, Martin & Lewis, Amos & Andy, Frick & Frack, Abbott & Costello. The dull witted buffoon & know-it-all straightman is not a new concept, but Foley & Bray are the best at switching roles during a performance.

Martinsville East Middle School Principal Eric Bowlen, who is also a Martinsville city councilman, tells legislators that the state is “missing the boat” because full-day kindergarten isn’t offered in all school districts

Let me ask this.

What sense does it make to add more time to a D- failing system. ? The proof is the longer your child is in the union government system the lower the level of eduction results.

Of those in the 3rd grade that can just pass (D-) the math, English and language arts portion of the ISTEP there will be 20% fewer that can even get a D- on the ISTEP bt the 10th grade. And that is consider the best students in the Top 25th percentile.

When compared to a non-union non- government school using the identical test the 3rd grade child doesn't only start off with a 8.5% higher scores but only looses 2% by the 10th grade. Also by the 10th grade the non-union non-government student has a 23% higher score than their union government counter parts using the same test.

So adding more time to a loosing system doesn't make sense.

Parent, Make you child more important than money.

Schools have "early intervention" for a reason. They target the young to get them on track before it is too late. Full day kindergarten would be another intervention. I have seen first hand the benefits of full day kindergarten. It would be a blessing for our students.

Rep. Foley said:

Also during Saturday’s discussion, state Rep. Ralph Foley said Martinsville is trying to find a new tenant for its vacant former Harman-Becker plant, but the capability of area workers has been questioned by some prospects.

“‘What can you tell me about the work force in Martinsville,’ they say,” said Foley. “‘Are they going to be capable?’

“We have doubts out there.”

What was your response Rep. Foley?

I would have to say only NEA and the union government schools profit from full-day kindergarten or kindergarten period. Any benefit seen is purely NEA brainwashing. Another most devastating brainwashing that's infected the system is to consider the taking of a parent's child as an intervention. What was that ? What kind of out-of-order arrogant elitist misguided self-important comment about when a parent nervously drops their child off at a scary school for the first time is considered an intervention, is that? First that's assuming the childs parents have them OFF TRACK. A gec teacher isn't qualified to determine that. The only benefit possible is for a 1st grade teacher and the parents who want to dump off their children for a free or cheap baby sitter. There is zero benefits for the children as the statistics prove. The longer in the GEC system the lower their education level.

I actually know a teacher who actually paid to go to school and learn how to work in the union government system. Those who complete that course gets a certificate. ( a gec teacher degree) Then instead of using what they spent so much for to benefit their own child by homeschooling them in the afternoon after the GEC job, like one would expect a parent to do, they dump their children into the gec in exchange for a part-time jobs money. Now all that hard work in the GEC college for a job and not even using it for the love of their own child.

This happens a lot within the system whose union has brained washed its members to do what ever it take to keep paying the union dues. Even sacrifice a better education for their children as all statistics prove.

Parent, this is teacher longe talk. There is a core group of GEC teachers who comment on this site and when you here this lofty elitist talking small of the parents don't be alarmed. This is the rule of the day and general attitude of their ownership of your child and they know best and the parents are stupid obstacles that require them to have "EARLY INTERVENTION" to save the parent's child who must be "OFF TRACK".

What is funny is when a teacher actually talks like this in the real world in form of the public they don't even realize how scary they sound in their elitist arrogant disillusions. To them they are just talking normal like in the teacher's lounge with all they accepted assumptions from the GEC university and the NEA newsletters.

So because of this I will just use this as an illustration of how completely disrespected a parent is considered and thought of by the union brainwashed teachers. They don't even realize what they say is completely untrue and nonsensical and insulting. This is what they teach your children concerning your position in the equation. You are letting someone who won't even teach their own child who you would expect they love, try to teach your child who they don't know or love. The outcome is what all the statistics on the complete failure of the union government system illustrates. The proof is in the pudding.

Take you child out and put them in a private school for less than a cigarette habit. Or if you can be committed to your children homeschool them for the highest statistically proven educational results. But don't put up with being slammed and talked down to by an unqualified elitist union teacher.

Live poor in stuff and rich in family.

So adding more time to a loosing system doesn't make sense because it just dumbs down your child. By the time they leave the system they can lose as much as a whole grades worth of education and most of the time when entering college have to retake basic ed remediation (catch-up)classes just to be able to moving on to college classes.

Compare that to a lot of homeschoolers who have a lot of college credits built up before they even graduate highschool at 16 years old. They do that by taking college courses at the local community colleges while finishing up their highschool requirements.

Parent, Make you child more important than money. Live stuff poor and family rich. Get your children out of the union controlled government compounds today.

PS, get your calculator out cause here's the state numbers I used to simply figure the above. I didn't make any of it up besides one can't make this kind of stuff up anyway.

Hey Liberty - your tax dollars will provide vouchers for students in the state of Indiana to go to ANY school - this would include the Islamic center in Plainfield. You Kosher with that, buddy? Can't wait to hear how you spin this one. Actually, I can, because you are literally a complete non-factor in this discussion. Sitting at home doesn't count. I haven't seen you at ANY of these events. So, looks like the real poser has been exposed.

I also would like to add just how sad it is that those three idealogues represent this area. One is 100 years old and would not have known it if the wall behind him fell down. One is a radical teaparty businessman, who has about as much a right to serve on education as I do on brain surgery committees, and the other one.....I don't even know what to say. He doesn't either. He just says 30 minutes of something that doesn't say anything. They wait for the green light, and hit a button. And they all collect over $40,000 to work 60 and 90 days a year. Very sad. Makes me sick to my stomach that no one with ever a little sense runs against these people.

Oh well, Charlie Sheen is coming on and I must go now.

Reality, the most important thing here is that parents spend the tax money they would have had to for the GECS on what ever form of education they see fit for their own child whose their God-given responsibility.

Why do you bash muslims ? They are just deceived like many other like many modern-day Christians discrediting Christianity by advocating the killing of Muslims. There is a successful effort being made to evangelize them with the biggest obstacle being the modern Christian church itself that doesn't believe in following the commands of Christ but rather try to explain His commands away. God loves them and wants all of us to surrender completely to Jesus and follow Him and His will only.

Remember the vouchers are not taxpayers dollars to those who pay taxes, it's the taxpayers own money. For those who don't pay it a chance for their child to receive a better education and some day be a taxpayer. You should stop speaking bad about the lower-income people too.

Why would anyone need to go to a union protest rally full of non-participants to the solution. You have seen me taking pictures but I didn't stick around because it was such a demeaning selfish group of people with inferiority problems a self-worth issues that can rub off one other. Union protest are for posers not real citizens. Right ?

Now if someone would start a children's union that would protect them from the union gec teachers , I would support them and their parents.

Statistics bother those who only offer opinions because they provide proof in the face of just same old union propaganda that is the enemy of real parents and their children.

Hope all is well reality. Soon we'll all be cutting grass again.
