Obama will not defend traditional marriage

Marriage is an institution created by God between a man and a woman. Never was it stated in my Bible that two women or two men were married. How can they ask for "marriage" when they go against what marriage is in the first place? This has nothing to do with whether or not I agree with it. If people want to be fair and let them have insurance benefits then give them a "domestic partnership" but don't lessen what I have with my spouse by calling them married. I used to have a close friend who is gay. She and her partner moved to Vermont so she could get health insurance. And that is exactly the reason she gave me when she left the state. Of all the other job offers in all the other states that have a lot less snow and they went to Vermont because of the insurance. Thanks for helping me put 2 and 2 together. |
