I know all too well about the "juvenile justice" system. As a juvenile , one has almost NO RIGHTS at all in the Indiana court system. No right to a jury, No right to bail. It's pretty much set up like a trip to the principle's office, you have no say, your guilty and you get your "whacks" and that's about it.
As an adult defendent he will have all those constitional rights he was supposed to be born with.He will have alot of idle time on his hands in prison ,I suspect, where he will be given access to a law library.Maybe someday he will find a use for his melon and self lawyer his way back to freedom.
He got himself into this. When you try and take a life in cold blood you are done with childhood innocence forever.I've seen a bunch of very young men go to prison that didn't really need to (in my opinion), but this one signed up for it all the way.He knew the consequences, he wanted the spotlight that's now on him and WE MUST make an example of him.

It's getting very old hearing the same old group of blind loyal union teachers and their loyal supporting friends continue to post blame on the students both young and old for the union government system of education that has transformed this nation into a nation without morals or hope. I don't want to be small and call name like some will but it's extremely embarrassing to see so many people in the community that haven't the least real care about children. Yes they will put on an act of insult when the allegiance is questioned and say the same old tag lines like " we shouldn't point fingers or don't blame the teachers or please don't change the education system that we control and make all our money from" but what is the most sickening and embarrassing for our community as a group are when the very failing employees of the union-government system post all the blame for their failures on the student both past and present.
Why have the parents over the last 40 years gradually become less concerned about characters and morals, even to the point of feeling non-responsible for their own children education ? Who "MOLDED their minds" or their parents minds ?. Ever since the union-government educators started teaching "Secular Humanism" as the union government endorsed religion all these thing have progressively gotten worst and with each generation of it's education has so overcome a society that even a strong Christan family only has a 10-25 % chance of their children keeping any true faith after graduating a union-government high-school and that's only if they are the luck 63% in this nation that do. CLICK HERE FOR ONE OF MANY GOOD DESCRIPTION OF SECULAR HUMANISM
There are zero mysteries in why our society has fallen. I have provide over the years all the document reason and studies that proves them. Now we have a nation and a town of the mentally dull aged students who habitually are blaming students, past and present for all the failings of the children that all originated from a system taught by the teachers who support their union to the tune of over $84,000.00 in Morgan county alone. This just illustrates the victory of the historic goals of the teachers union who brags about being the molders of their minds. I can understand character blind NEA union people supporting bad but when are some of you older students going to stand up and ask "hey what have you done to me"
I see we know have a popular school icon who has stepped forward to voice the same conclusion of the results of Secular Humanism taught in out union- government schools. I say their are fare more who profit from the system that understands this but are to afraid to step forward and be counted with the adults. Non-union Charter schools, private schools ( only 339.00 per month at suburban) and home school for the student/parent who have become unwound of the system.
I hope our community older students who are now parents will take time this spring and summer to go visit one of the many home school conventions around the Midwest like the one in Indianapolis this year (see below)
"If the foundations be destroyed, what can the righteous do?"
Come join us for the 26th Annual IAHE Home Educators Convention to be held at the Indianapolis Convention Center on Friday & Saturday, June 3rd & 4th, 2011. I think it gets really old hearing YOU say the same things over and over again. You're like a scratch record. For God sakes talk about something else for a bit.

Very sad that we as a society allow this, criminally charging children as adults. I bet all you elderly folks were as mature at 15 as you are now. What a shame that a prosecutor would pull this card.

Owl I'm with you. I'm so tired of hearing/reading Liberty spout the same things over and over again. Maybe Liberty needs to move on to the Indianapolis star comment board. I wonder if Liberty was even at West Middle School on Friday??

This 15 year old young man was at school though he had been expelled. He posted some questionable comments on Facebook. He took a gun with him to the school. He shot the other young man 2 times. He had previously been in trouble with the law. All of this seems to be premeditated to me and that he knew exactly what he was doing. I am glad the prosecutor is doing his job instead of using the easy way out letting this young man be tried as a juvenile. Maybe if all parents held their children accountable for doing wrong & punished them, horrible things like this wouldn't happen.

LovesMooresville and nothing else. Children are children. Their irresponsible actions do not make them more mature, hopefully wiser, but not more mature. You are seeking revenge. Shame on you.
