Deckard has done a fine job with all that has happened since elected. His offices are open, FRIENDLY, and fast. I do not miss the days of calling into "Boss Hog's pitbull."

You have a choice between 1980's candidate or 1990's candidate in the primary: Or, a delusional, right-wing conspiracy theorist, Reagan worshiper; or a business owner who decided out of nowehere to run for mayor.

Mr. Deckard has the best record of proven business performance of all the candidates.

His major fault is his reluctance to disappoint, which, at the same time, oddly enough, is also his greatest strength. I'm not sure if his desire to appease drives his relentless public service or vice versa.

Either way, after much consideration, Mayor Deckard has won my very hard-earned vote.
